The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, March 5.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Welfare Check, 10:07 p.m.

Officers responded to a welfare check on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Female was taken into custody for a probation violation.

Suspicious, 9:46 p.m.

Officer checked on a suspicious vehicle on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Vehicle had its steering column tampered with.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:45 p.m.

Disorderly conduct-removal call at the 100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Individual was in violation of probation conditions and subsequently taken into custody.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:50 p.m.

Individual advised officers that kids were pointed laser pointer at vehicle while it was being driven on Park Ave. and 21st St. NW. Spoke to parent of kids who already spoke to kids about the issue.

Traffic Stop, 3:31 p.m.

Individual was placed under arrest for multiple violations on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Violations/Court Orders, 1:46 p.m.

One arrested on the 600 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.

DWI, 1:52 a.m.

A driver was arrested for DWI on 1st St. E and Central Ave. SE.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Theft, 5:37 p.m.

Report of theft of property on the 2500 block of Vincent St. NW. Property located at a pawn shop.

Burglary, 2:44 p.m.

Reported on the 28900 block of Heavenly Dr. NW in Pinewood.
