Bemidji City Council has a full agenda tonight, from MOU with Northern Township to Sanford Center annual report

The Bemidji City Council will hear the annual report from the Sanford Center in their meeting tonight.

Executive Director Sheila Murphy will provide an overview of some of the events held over 2022, as well as financials and staffing.

The council will also review options for a Memorandum of Understanding with Northern Township. Staff is not recommending accepting the MOU, where the township uses federal grant dollars to construct pipes connected to city services out to Ruttger’s Birchmont Lodge, which is under monitor by the MPCA for a failing septic system.

The council also will further discuss the evaluation of the City Manager, which is scheduled for the end of this month.

A preview of tonight’s meeting is also available with Council Member Lynn Eaton’s Chatabout show.
