The Bemidji City Council will consider a two-year pause on sewer and water connection fees for single-family homes within city limits.
If enacted, the moratorium would take place for single-family homes constructed on existing lots between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2021.
City Manager Nate Mathews wrote in a memo that the move would be to encourage growth in the single-family home market.
Also scheduled on the agenda is a revolving loan fund request and a public hearing for an ordinance amending the fee schedule for next year.
