Bemidji City Council to discuss several items of new business in meeting Monday

The Bemidji City Council will discuss several items of new business during their meeting Monday.

The council will review a revised memorandum of understanding with the Bemidji Rotary Club for the North Country Park Natural Playscapes Project, as well as consider a professional services agreement for the design of that project.

Two bids will be considered, one for the 23rd Street Trail project expected this summer and a quote for a Park Avenue storm sewer project.

The council is also expected to discuss and possibly support a MnDOT demonstration project at Highway 197 and 6th street.

The council will then consider three items for the Sanford Center: a purchase of a point-of-sale system, and capital improvement expenditures for the ice plant and rink repairs.

The council will also consider a lease agreement with WSN.

Table for 7 is requesting permits for outdoor dining and the public hearing for those will be held during the Monday meeting.
