Bemidji City Council to hold two public hearings in tonight’s meeting

The Bemidji City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the small cities development program, with an update from the Headwaters Regional Development Commission.

Another public hearing is slated for the 2023 Amended Fee Schedule.

The council, after approving three separate consent agendas, will also hear a report from the Northwoods Battered Women’s Shelter, and hold the first reading of an ordinance amending the city’s rental housing registration code.

In new business, the council will consider purchasing property and consider recommendations on the proposed Wellness Center and Rail Corridor Redevelopment Advisory Team.
