The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Oct. 28, through Tuesday, Nov. 1.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

TUESDAY, NOV. 1

Welfare Check, 6:42 p.m.

Officers responded to a possible overdose on the 900 block of 26th St. NW.

Theft, 8:39 a.m.

Adult female shoplifter at Walmart arrested.

Disorderly Conduct, 12:38 a.m.

Roommates/friends arguing over unpaid rent on the 700 block of 3rd St. SE. One roommate transported to local hotel per request.

MONDAY, OCT. 31

Assist, 11:35 p.m.

Two juveniles were given a ride home late at night from the 1900 block of Middle School Dr. NW.

Traffic Stop, 11:13 p.m.

Traffic stop on Woodland Ave. and Mississippi Ave. SW. One arrested.

Assault, 9:29 p.m.

Welfare check on a male who said he was being chased on the 200 block of 4th St. NW. Subject did not want any investigation done and just wanted a ride.

Assist, 9:19 p.m.

Caller requesting assistance with keeping inappropriate content off his computer on the 1800 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. Advised to contact computer repair shop.

Suspicious, 9:03 p.m.

Report of male screaming near an apartment complex on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Officers were unable to locate male.

DWI, 8:14 p.m.

Report of shoplifting on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested for DWI.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:54 p.m.

Caller reported a blue four-door car with passengers throwing eggs at others on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Middle School Dr. NW. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the described vehicle.

Suspicious, 6:59 p.m.

Report of a suspicious person on the 400 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE. Subject was entering their own vehicle for their phone.

Property Damage, 12:52 p.m.

Officer took a report of damage to yard decorations on the 1200 block of Park Ave. NW.

Theft, 11:55 a.m.

Officer took a report of a stolen license plate on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 11:23 a.m.

Officer took a complaint of vehicles driving too fast on Birchmont Dr. NE. Extra patrols requested.

Theft, 10:33 a.m.

Officer took a possible theft report on the 400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Theft occurred in Florida.

Disorderly Conduct, 10:09 a.m.

Officer responded to a removal of three at a local apartment complex on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Upon arrival, a female was arrested on a local warrant.

Disturbing the Peace, 12:34 a.m.

Officers dispatched to a noise complaint on the 200 block of 13th St. NE. Several renters issued warnings for disorderly house.

SUNDAY, OCT. 30

Suicide, 11:50 p.m.

Officers assisted a female threatening to jump off the Mississippi Bridge on the 200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Female transported for care.

Theft, 11:18 p.m.

Theft from a vehicle reported on the 1600 block of Delton Ave. NW. Handgun stolen.

Traffic Stop, 11:16 p.m.

Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. and Amos Way NW. One arrested.

Suspicious, 9:49 p.m.

Male cited for exhibition driving (burnouts) in downtown Bemidji.

Traffic Stop, 9:42 p.m.

Traffic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Gemmell Ave. SW. Driver arrested for driving while canceled-IPS.

Weapons Offenses, 9:21 p.m.

Report of gunshots on the 600 block of 2nd St. SE. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.

Trespass, 11:27 a.m.

Report of someone inside reporting party’s garage last night on the 2500 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Warrant, 4:50 a.m.

Warrant arrest on the 1900 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Burglary, 4:14 a.m.

Officer took a burglary report on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Welfare Check, 3:55 a.m.

Individual flagged down officers for a male sleeping next to a tree on Ridgeway Ave. and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. The subject was found to be fine and did not require any assistance.

Accident, 2:55 a.m.

Male arrested for DWI after a property damage crash on Roosevelt Rd. and Paul Bunyan Dr. SE.

DWI, 2:29 a.m.

Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. and 6th St. NE. Adult female arrested for DWI.

Assault, 2:07 a.m.

Officers responded to an assault in progress on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW. Male was arrested for multiple offenses.

Suspicious, 1:01 a.m.

Officer made contact with a caller in regards to someone banging on their front door on the 1900 block of Park Ave. NW. It was determined to have been one of their friends playing ding dong ditch.

Disturbing the Peace, 12:45 a.m.

Party complaint on the 1600 block of Bixby Ave. NE. Charges forwarded for male who fled.

Pursuit, 12:11 a.m.

Adult male placed under arrest following a vehicle pursuit on the 300 block of 3rd St. NW.

SATURDAY, OCT. 29

Assault, 10:33 p.m.

Report of possible assault on Itasca Loop NW. Family was playing video games.

Property Damage, 10:10 p.m.

Damage to Halloween decorations and disorderly complaint on the 800 block of 3rd St. SE.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 9:59 p.m.

Report of vehicles doing donuts in local store parking lot on the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Officers were unable to locate.

Theft, 9:50 p.m.

Report of a stolen firearm and suspicious activity on the 3800 block of Sherman Dr. NE.

Assist, 9:22 p.m.

Assist with someone trapped in elevator on the 300 block of 23rd St. NE.

Fire, 8:03 p.m.

Complaint of smoke/haze which was present throughout the city reported from the 200 block of Gemmell Ave. SW. Unable to locate.

Suspicious, 6:32 p.m.

Report of suspicious male on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. Subject arrested and charges referred.

Weapons Offenses, 4:10 p.m.

Possible gunshots on the 900 block of Fern St. NW. Officer responded to area and did not locate or observe anyone in need of medical or assistance.

Theft, 11:20 a.m.

Vehicle theft on the 2500 block of Phoenix Loop NW. Vehicle located later.

Assault, 9:55 a.m.

Officers responded to an assault and property damage on the 500 block of America Ave. NW.

Assault, 12:32 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a disorderly female on Itasca Loop NW. Adult female was arrested for domestic assault.

FRIDAY, OCT. 28

Traffic Stop, 10:27 p.m.

Male placed under arrest for multiple offenses on the 500 block of Anne St. NW.

Traffic Stop, 8:58 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 1700 block of 15th St. NW. Driver arrested.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:48 p.m.

Female observed yelling and swearing on the 500 block of America Ave. NW. Advised not to disturb the peace.

DWI, 5:47 p.m.

Motorcycle accident on Irvine Ave. and 15th St. NW. Driver arrested.

Property, 5:11 p.m.

Found firearm on the 500 block of Mississippi Ave. NW.

Family Crimes, 3:38 p.m.

Report of suspected child abuse by boyfriend on Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Medical, 1:53 p.m.

Medical on the 200 block of 9th St. NW. Possible overdose.

Suspicious, 1:21 p.m.

Call into dispatch, yelling about shooting a dog, but was not available on call back. Cleared-no contact.

Assault, 8:50 a.m.

Domestic assault arrest on Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 2:53 a.m.

Inmate refused to leave the jail, female was held for court.

Assault, 2:09 a.m.

Officers responded to a domestic assault on Ridgeway Ave. NW.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

TUESDAY, NOV. 1

DWI, 10:50 p.m.

Adult arrested for DWI and driving status offense on Highway 2 and Animal Land Dr. SE.

Traffic Stop, 8:59 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male transported to jail to pay bail on warrant.

Weapons Offenses, 1:30 p.m.

Reported on Scribner Rd. NW.

Welfare Check, 5:26 a.m.

Deputies advised to check on subject in roadway on the 8700 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male arrested on A&D.

Welfare Check, 12:03 a.m.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on the 19600 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for his warrants.

MONDAY, OCT. 31

Traffic Stop, 9:30 p.m.

Traffic stop for tail light out on the 15700 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE in Cass Lake. Arrest for canceled license-IPS.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 5:12 p.m.

Driver arrested for DWI on the 200 block of Frontage Rd. in Blackduck.

Theft, 11:36 a.m.

Lost firearm reported, most likely in caller’s home on the 9400 block of Howling Wolf Dr. NE.

Fraud, 9:45 a.m.

Voter fraud investigation on the 5500 block of Sullivan Dr. NW.

Suspicious, 2:03 a.m.

Deputy checked on two suspicious vehicles on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male and female arrested for OFP violations.

SUNDAY, OCT. 30

Disorderly Conduct, 8:59 p.m.

Possible trespasser revealed to be granddaughter on the 6600 block of Nature Rd. NW.

Weapons Offenses, 5:44 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 6500 block of Grange Rd. NW for a loud explosion. Likely tannerite.

Assault, 2:07 a.m.

One female arrested on Sweet Sap Rd. and Highway 89 NW in Puposky for multiple charges.

Traffic Stop, 1:28 a.m.

Traffic stop on Tall Pines Rd. and Sandy Dr. NE in Turtle River. Adult female arrested for DWI.

SATURDAY, OCT. 29

Animal, 8:09 p.m.

Deer recovered and ran off on the 200 block of Spirit Ave. NW.

Burglary, 4:11 p.m.

Locks cut off of storage units on the 27200 block of Highway 71 in Blackduck.

Disturbing the Peace, 12:35 a.m.

One male arrested on multiple charges on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.

FRIDAY, OCT. 28

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 9:00 p.m.

Suspicious vehicle on the 500 block of Chief Boyd Dr. NE in Cass Lake passed along to LLTPD, as deputies were out at a possible burglary in progress.

Suspicious, 8:33 p.m.

Driver in suspicious vehicle arrested for DWI on the 20400 block of New Maple Rdg. NE in Hines. Released to a sober driver.

Fire, 4:24 p.m.

Camper fire on the 15900 block of Ridge Rd. NW in Solway.

SWAT, 10:22 a.m.

Suspect located and arrested on the 17600 block of Lookout Tower Rd. NE in Hines.
