Bemidji man arrested on suspicion of stabbing trees

A Bemidji man was arrested in Moorhead late last week on report of disturbing behavior that included stabbing trees.

According to a release from the Moorhead Police Department, last Thursday night, 38-year-old Thomas Boswell was arrested after two separate police reports involving a male with a knife, one which included threatening the caller and the other for the alleged tree stabbing.

Boswell was taken into custody without incident.

He was being held in the Clay County on suspicion of assault and criminal damage to property.
