Bemidji man faces sexual misconduct charges

BEMIDJI– A Bemidji man facing criminal sexual conduct charges is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

According to the complaint, 18-year-old Jackson Brusewitz allegedly raped an intoxicated minor female at a house party in April.

Unconditional bail was set at $12,000. Maximum sentencing for fifth degree criminal sexual conduct is a year in prison, a $3,000 fine, or both.
