Bemidji man facing first-degree drug, DWI charges

A Bemidji man is facing first-degree drug possession and DWI charges while under investigation by the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force as a suspect of methamphetamine distribution in the area.

According to the criminal complaint, 40-year-old Jesse Eisenbarth was stopped by a Beltrami County deputy on March 14.

The deputy observed Eisenbarth constantly moving his arms, fidgeting, and possibly attempting to conceal something.

A search warrant executed on Eisenbarth’s vehicle and residence on Minnesota Avenue found approximately 143 grams of methamphetamine and numerous other drug-related items.

Eisenbarth has prior convictions for controlled substances and driving under the influence.

Eisenbarth makes his next court appearance tomorrow.
