A Bemidji man is facing charges of possessing child pornography and sexually assaulting a close relative.
According to the criminal complaints in these two separate cases, the abuse of the relative began when the girl was 11 years old and continued until she was 15.
While investigating this case, a search of 44-year-old Jeremy Doris’ cell phone revealed images in which he edited a photograph to make it appear he was having intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.
Doris’ unconditional bail was set at $200,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court today.
