Bemidji School Board meeting to hear budget projections and more

The Bemidji Area School Board will meet this evening and make more decisions on how to avoid a statutory operating debt.

The district is looking to cut around $5.6 million from their budget to restore a positive fund and avoid having the state make the decisions in budget cuts.

The board will hold a second reading and adoption of a revised school board resolution increasing admission and activity fees.

The board will also hear another budget projection as well as discuss the elementary school boundary changes.

Read the full school board packet here, and the Bemidji School Board meeting will be broadcast at 6:30 p.m. on their YouTube channel.
