Bemidji teen injured in crash with semi

A Bemidji teenager was injured in a crash Tuesday near Turtle River.

According to a release from the Minnesota State Patrol, the 16-year-old driver was northbound on Highway 71 when he attempted to turn left in front of a southbound 2019 International tractor/trailer.

The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Wildwood Rd. NE and Highway 71.

The 30-year-old driver of the semi, Dillon Oak of Fargo, was not injured. The Bemidji teen was treated for injuries at the Sanford Bemidji Emergency Room.
