BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, JAN. 24
Assist, 5:31 p.m.
Officer assisted with a juvenile child locked in a vehicle. Door was unlocked by a private party.
Suspicious, 3:49 p.m.
Report of possible burglary on the 3200 block of 2nd St. NW was actually the owner pushing on a frozen door. Unfounded.
Medical, 11:26 a.m.
Overdose reported on the 800 block of America Ave. NW.
Assault, 9:33 a.m.
Domestic issue. One arrested on Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Traffic Stop, 1:19 a.m.
Officer conducted traffic stop of a vehicle for speed on the 2600 block of Middle School Dr. NW. Driver issued a verbal warning. Passenger arrested for warrant.
SATURDAY, JAN. 23
DWI, 11:03 p.m.
Traffic stop on Pine Ridge Ave. and 30th St. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
Welfare Check, 2:26 p.m.
Officers checked on subjects possibly using drugs in the hallway of apartment building on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. One transported to ER for evaluation and the second released with promise to appear.
Trespass, 8:39 a.m.
Officer responded to an address on the 600 block of 28th St. NW for a possible burglary. It appeared the individual walked into garage after falling over and sat in a chair. Nothing was damaged or stolen. No further actions taken.
Weapons Offenses, 6:16 a.m.
Officers executed a search warrant on the 200 block of 25th St. NW. One arrested.

DWI, 10:10 p.m.
Traffic stop on 16th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Driver arrested for DWI.
DWI, 9:55 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 2200 block of Division St. W. One arrested for DWI.
DWI, 6:03 p.m.
Report of a vehicle stuck on a curb on the 100 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE. One arrested for DWI.
DWI, 2:04 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 500 block of Brightstar Rd. NW. Driver arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance.

Assist, 8:01 p.m.
Follow up on theft case, assist state patrol with traffic stop on the 1300 block of Central St. W in Bagley. Two arrested.
Assist, 5:07 p.m.
Attempt to assist Red Lake Tribal Police with retrieving stolen vehicle in Blackduck. They completed their efforts prior to deputy arrival.
DWI, 2:12 p.m.
Traffic stop on Roosevelt Rd. and Doberman Ct. SE. Adult female arrested for warrant and DWI.
Property Damage, 1:04 p.m.
Deputy received a complaint of catalytic converters being stolen on the 100 block of Cars Ct. NW.
Property Damage, 12:30 p.m.
Stolen car parts reported on the 6700 block of Fairgrounds Rd. NW.
DWI, 4:22 a.m.
Male arrested for 4th degree DWI and DAR on Irvine Ave. and Big Turtle Access NW.
DWI, 1:15 a.m.
Traffic stop on Trengove Rd. and Centerline Rd. NW in Solway. Driver arrested for suspicion of drug DWI.
DWI, 12:04 a.m.
Traffic stop on Highway 2 and Highway 89. Driver arrested for DWI.
SATURDAY, JAN. 23
DWI, 9:58 p.m.
One arrested on the 3000 block of Scenic Highway NE in Pennington for child endangerment. Another person arrested for DWI.
DWI, 8:45 p.m.
One arrested on the 5200 block of Theater Ln. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 4:17 p.m.
Deputies responded to the report of squatters in the attic on the 200 block of Spirit Ave. NW in Wilton. Attic was found to be uninhabited.
Pursuit, 7:59 a.m.
Deputies assisted in a pursuit of an impaired driver from the Red Lake Reservation. One adult male was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle, DWI and outstanding arrest warrant.
DWI, 5:13 a.m.
Male arrested for warrant, female arrested for 4th degree DWI and 5th degree drug charge on Sundown Rd. and Binder Dr. NW in Solway.
DWI, 3:07 a.m.
Vehicle in the ditch on the 6400 block of Sundown Rd. in Solway. One male arrested for DWI.
FRIDAY, JAN. 22
Welfare Check, 8:49 p.m.
Adult female arrested on outstanding warrants in Blackduck. No Blackduck PD officer on duty.
Traffic Stop, 7:05 p.m.
Traffic stop on Trengove Rd. and Wilton Hill Rd. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
Fire, 12:38 a.m.
Call about a house fire on the 3800 block of Scribner Rd. NW in Wilton. Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office and Bemidji Fire Department responded. Fire department provided a smoke alarm and double checked that the fire was now out.
