The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Jan. 31, to Sunday, Feb. 2.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, FEB. 2
Violations/Cout Orders, 9:02 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a court order violation on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW. One adult male was arrested.
Theft, 8:20 p.m.
Officers assisted with a follow up on a report of stolen vehicle tabs on the 900 block of 26th St. NW. Officers took report.
Theft, 2:02 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of theft from a vehicle on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Suspects were located and arrested.
Theft, 12:09 p.m.
Officers spoke with complainant about possible items being stolen from a vehicle. Complainant informed officers no assistance was needed.
Hazards (Dangerous), 4:33 a.m.
Gas leak reported by renter of an apartment building on the 1600 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Gas shut off by Bemidji Fire. MN Energy advised.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:04 a.m.
Report of several youths play fighting in the road on the 400 block of 15th St. NW. Gone on arrival, unable to locate.
Weapons Offenses, 12:51 a.m.
Caller reported seeing the driver of a vehicle waving a gun on Pine Ridge Ave. and 30th St. NW. The described vehicle was not located.
Agency Assist, 12:40 a.m.
Officers backed up the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office during a felony stop of a reported stolen vehicle on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested on multiple charges.
SATURDAY, FEB. 1
Assault, 6:13 a.m.
Assault reported at the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW. One arrested.
Suspicious, 6:01 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW. Male was arrested on multiple warrants.
FRIDAY, JAN. 31
Suspicious, 10:16 a.m.
Photographer waiting for customer on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Assist, 1:48 a.m.
Officer turned off stove at residence on the 1000 block of America Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:44 a.m.
Officers arrested one adult and one juvenile on warrants on 30th St. and Park Ave. NW.

SUNDAY, FEB. 2
DWI, 9:49 p.m.
Traffic stop on Sullivan Dr. and Eckles Rd. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
Violations/Court Orders, 8:20 p.m.
Male arrested for violation of a court order on the 2400 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE.
DWI, 7:05 p.m.
Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. and Lakewood Dr. NW resulting in the driver being arrested for DWI and displaying stolen registration.
911, 5:47 p.m.
911 open line. Eighteen-month-old child claimed responsibility.
911, 1:33 p.m.
Deputies responded to a complaint of a physical domestic assault in progress. Male subject was arrested for domestic assault and outstanding warrant and transported to the jail.
Suspicious, 6:59 a.m.
Female arrested on 3rd St. SW in Wilton.
DWI, 3:35 a.m.
Deputy checked on a vehicle on Paul Bunyan Dr. Driver was arrested for DWI.
Suspicious, 12:40 a.m.
Deputy located a possible stolen vehicle on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested for drug DWI.
SATURDAY, FEB. 1
Disorderly Conduct, 11:02 p.m.
Disorderly male causing problems on Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake. Male was arrested for warrants and giving a false name to law enforcement.
DWI, 8:19 p.m.
Traffic stop on Allens Bay Dr. and Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake. Driver arrested for drug DWI and a probation violation.
Traffic Stop, 8:08 p.m.
Traffic stop on 23rd St. and Birchmont Dr. NE. Driver arrested for DWI.
Traffic Stop, 4:12 a.m.
Traffic stop on Highway 2 and Division St. W. Driver was arrested for DWI, and two passengers were also arrested for probation violations.
FRIDAY, JAN. 31
Traffic Stop, 7:11 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 13300 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Driver arrested for outstanding warrant and cited for driving after revocation.
Welfare Check, 5:43 p.m.
Deputies responded to the 5700 block of Balsam Rd. NW for a welfare check of a male. Male assaulted Deputy and was placed under arrest.
Assault, 9:23 a.m.
Report of domestic assault on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW. One arrested, charges forwarded to the county attorney.
Dead Body, 6:51 a.m.
Death investigation of an adult male.
