The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded from Friday, Jan. 7, through Sunday, Jan. 9.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, JAN. 9
Fire, 9:05 p.m.
Officer responded to a fire alarm on the 500 block of 4th St. SE. Officer located an open window. They searched the residence, no one was located inside, building secured, no active fire.
Assault, 7:53 p.m.
Juvenile arrested for multiple offenses on the 900 block of 26th St. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 8:03 a.m.
Report of subjects in an apartment mechanical room on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. They left without incident.
Assault, 12:42 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a physical domestic in progress on East Ave. NE. One male arrested.
Warrant, 12:37 a.m.
Traffic stop on Park Ave. and 34th St. NW. Driver arrested on a warrant.
SATURDAY, JAN. 8
Disorderly Conduct, 9:03 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a female who was threatening herself and others with a knife on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. Witnesses reported that she wasn’t assaultive but was in a mental health crisis. Female was transported to a medical care facility for a mental health evaluation.
Welfare Check, 6:54 p.m.
Officers responded to a medical on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Female was arrested on a warrant.
DWI, 1:54 a.m.
Traffic stop for head or tail lights on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested for DWI.
Welfare Check, 12:24 a.m.
Husband reported wife left an argument on foot and was outside in the elements near 19th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Officer gave female a ride downtown.
FRIDAY, JAN. 7
Drugs, 8:58 p.m.
Male individual inhaling air duster on the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Male individual was left in the care of EMTs.
Assist, 8:58 p.m.
Officer assisted an individual in exiting a bathroom that was locked from the outside on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SUNDAY, JAN. 9
Suspicious, 7:18 p.m.
Suspicious vehicle on the 1100 block of Chief Boyd Dr. NE in Cass Lake. Two males arrested for warrants.
Violations/Court Orders, 3:56 p.m.
Male who violated HRO was located and arrested for second-degree DWI, fifth-degree drugs and driving after revocation on the 9900 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 5:25 a.m.
Provided courtesy ride for intoxicated female to the hospital. Female was too drunk to remember her own address.
SATURDAY, JAN. 8
DWI, 11:57 p.m.
Report of a vehicle in the ditch on Cardinal Rd. NW. Male driver arrested for DWI.
Assist, 11:08 p.m.
Caller wants to be an informant. No answer on callback, voicemail was left.
Welfare Check, 9:58 p.m.
Welfare check on an adult male who hasn’t checked in with mother.
Assault, 8:41 p.m.
Subject arrested for assaulting his elderly father in Bemidji.
Violations/Court Orders, 2:36 p.m.
HRO violation in Bemidji, subject arrested.
FRIDAY, JAN. 7
DWI, 10:08 p.m.
Traffic stop on Jenkins Rd. SE. Male arrested for fourth-degree DWI and fifth-degree drugs.
DWI, 5:48 p.m.
Traffic stop on Highway 89 and Nuthatch Ln. NW. Driver arrested for DWI, DAC-IPS, no insurance and a Cass County warrant. Two passengers arrested for warrants.
Suspicious, 10:03 a.m.
Report of steam coming from slush on Lake Bemidji.
