The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, OCT. 11

Trespass, 6:27 p.m.

Officers responded to a trespass issue at a vacant home on the 600 block of 26th St. NW.

Burglary, 4:57 p.m.

Residential burglary occurred in the evening hours on the 500 block of . 24th St. NW. Extra patrol requested.

Disorderly Conduct, 12:10 a.m.

Complaint of fireworks being thrown from a moving vehicle on the 400 block  of Roosevelt Rd. SW. Gone on arrival.

SATURDAY, OCT. 10

Weapons Offenses, 11:42 p.m.

Caller advised they heard loud noise in the area of the 1000 block of Washington Ave  S.

Suspicious, 9:01 p.m.

Officers were called for a suspicious group in a cemetery on the 1900 block of  Bemidji Ave. N. Found student film makers. Group dispersed.

Theft, 4:40 p.m.

Stolen campaign sign reported on the 2700 block of Ivy Ln. NE. No suspect information.

DWI, 4:01 p.m.

Officer responded to a reckless vehicle complaint involving a hit and run on 5th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Driver was located and arrested for DUI.

Fire, 9:15 a.m.

Suspect(s) attempted to start two vehicles on fire on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW.

Burglary, 5:40 a.m.

Residential burglary complaint on the 700 block of 26th St. NW. Tenants awoke and scared off the suspect.

Fire, 1:25 a.m.

Officers responded to a vehicle fire on the 900 block of 30th St. NW.

FRIDAY, OCT. 9

Weapons Offenses, 9:26 p.m.

Multiple reports of a single gunshot on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Officers were unable to locate the source.

Warrant, 8:12 p.m.

Request to remove a disorderly female from a residence on the 1300 block of 3rd St. SE. Subject was arrested on a confirmed out of county warrant.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:28 p.m.

Verbal warning given for fireworks violation on 1st St. E and Grant Ave. SE.

Disorderly Conduct, 6:20 p.m.

Female party harassing others outside of an apartment complex on the 2900 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Subject was arrested for multiple charges.

Suspicious, 6:06 p.m.

Caller thought she saw someone holding a gun on the 1200 block of 5th St. NW. Officers spoke to the male and confirmed he was holding a walkie-talkie.

DWI, 2:18 a.m.

Traffic stop on 24th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.

THURSDAY, OCT. 8

Suspicious, 4:19 p.m.

Report of a suspicious male who turned out to be a grandpa and not suspicious at all on the 100 block of 29th St. NW.

Violations/Court Orders, 2:39 p.m.

DANCO violation reported on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. One arrested.

Medical, 1:18 p.m.

Responded to a medical on the 200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. One arrested on a warrant, no new charges.

Suspicious, 2:50 a.m.

Officer identified suspicious individual walking in the area of the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW after a weapons offense. Individuals already had been identified.

Weapons Offenses, 1:12 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of a shooting on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

SUNDAY, OCT. 11

Burglary, 9:26 p.m.

Residential burglary reported on Alps Ct. NW.

Harassment, 5:53 p.m.

Unknown suspect harassing children via Instagram.

Property Damage, 3:06 p.m.

Damage to a windshield by a rock on Highway 71 NW.

Theft, 1:57 p.m.

Property damage complaint on the 5600 block of Nature Rd. NW.

Warrant, 1:35 p.m.

Adult arrested for warrant and drug charges on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.

Weapons Offenses, 7:16 a.m.

Report of shots fired during duck season on Irvine Ave. and Rolling Hills Dr. NW.

DWI, 4:02 a.m.

Deputy checking on a vehicle stopped in the lane of travel on Highway 2, ultimately arrested driver for DWI.

Agency Assist, 12:10 a.m.

Reports of loud explosions on the 400 block of Roosevelt Rd. SW.

SATURDAY, OCT. 10

Property, 7:52 p.m.

Stolen ATV recovered by ass County on the 5000 block of Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake.

Assist, 6:29 p.m.

Pursuit and recovered ATV by Cass County on Kappes Ln. and Allens Bay Dr. SE in Cass Lake.

Property Damage, 4:53 p.m.

Damage to President Trump sign on the 4300 block of Centerline Rd. NW in Solway.

Assault, 4:14 p.m.

Adult female arrested after threats involving a replica firearm on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.

Weapons Offenses, 1:34 p.m.

Deputies responded to a gunfire complaint on the 1300 block of Averi Circle NW. The source was found to be people target practicing in a safe manner.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 12:57 p.m.

Vehicle theft from Red Lake. One arrested on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.

FRIDAY, OCT. 9

Assaut, 10:04 p.m.

Report of an assault on the 200 block of Spirit Ave. NW in Wilton.

Theft, 2:51 p.m.

Theft of a political sign on the 4500 block of Sugar Bush Ct. NE. Complainant did not answer return call.

Assault, 12:43 p.m.

Felony warrant arrest as a result of a domestic assault call on Irvine Ave. NW.

THURSDAY, OCT. 8

Assaut, 10:33 a.m.

Report of an ongoing assault on the 800 block of Town Hall Rd. NW. Adult male arrested.

Agency Assist, 2:28 a.m.

Traffic stop in reference to a fight call on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Driver cited for DAR, had no proof of insurance at al.
