The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Nov. 19, to Sunday, Nov. 21.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, NOV. 21

Theft, 5:11 p.m.

A caller reported a vehicle stolen on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Called back, a friend took the car to fill it with gas.

Welfare Check, 2:00 a.m.

Welfare check on an intoxicated male on 4th St. and Beltrami Ave. NW. Subject brought to ER for hypothermia and intoxication.

DWI, 12:14 a.m.

Traffic stop on 10th St. and Birchmont Dr. NE. One arrested for DWI.

SATURDAY, NOV. 20

Accident, 9:36 p.m.

Officer advised female on her options resulting from her crashing her own vehicle on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW with no victims.

Fire, 9:29 p.m.

Callers reported smoke detectors going off in neighbor’s apartment on the 600 block of Patriot Dr. NW. Burnt pizza in the oven.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:46 p.m.

Male arrested for trespassing on the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Theft, 6:46 p.m.

Caller reported a stolen package from outside of her apartment door on the 1400 block of 30th St. NW.

Theft, 6:30 p.m.

Tactical photography backpack, drone and camera stolen from a parked car on the 2300 block of Trustar Ave. NW.

Burglary, 1:23 p.m.

Burglary reported on the 4300 block of Elliot Rd. NE. Report of stolen firearm from dwelling.

Assault, 8:14 a.m.

The female had a knife in her hand and threatened to stab people if she did not get her boyfriend’s bag back on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. One arrested.

Weapons Offenses, 12:45 a.m.

Bartender reported an adult male flashed a knife at the bouncer while being removed from the bar on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW. After speaking with the bouncer, male did not “flash” the knife or threaten anyone.

FRIDAY, NOV. 19

Accident, 11:20 p.m.

Hit-and-run accident reported on the 100 block of Central Ave. SE.

Assault, 7:24 p.m.

Officer arrested an individual for assault on 31st St. NW. The individual later assaulted jail staff.

Animal, 12:31 p.m.

Officer responded to a nuisance animal report on Cedar Ln. NW. Upon arrival, it was a skunk digging its last meal before hibernation.

Medical, 10:20 a.m.

Overdose reported on the 900 block of 30th St. NW.

Assist, 9:18 a.m.

One arrested on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW.

Warrant, 8:08 a.m.

Subject arrested by BCA agents at Tires Plus. Subject transported to Beltrami Corrections without incident.

DWI, 12:31 a.m.

Officers responded to a snowmobile complaint on 26th St. and Beltrami Ave. NW. One male arrested for DWI.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, NOV. 21

DWI, 9:28 p.m.

Male arrested for DAC-IPS, third-degree DWI, and fifth-degree drugs on the 4700 block of Mission Rd. NE.

Weapons Offenses, 2:55 p.m.

Possible firearm possession by ineligible person reported on the 9700 block of Turtle River Lake Rd. NE.

Warrant, 1:46 a.m.

A female was arrested on a warrant on the 3800 block of Animal Land Dr. SE.

SATURDAY, NOV. 20

Traffic Stop, 12:08 p.m.

Traffic stop on Grant Ave. and 1st St. E. Three occupants arrested for warrants and charges for drugs and DWI.

Disorderly Conduct, 12:48 a.m.

Reported gunshots on the 2400 block of Vincent St. NW. Deputies located fireworks.

FRIDAY, NOV. 19

Fire, 11:19 p.m.

Car fire investigation on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW.

Assist, 4:57 p.m.

Assist another county with stolen property recovery on the 10500 block of 23rd St. SE.

Assist, 4:58 p.m.

One arrested on 8th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW.

Weapons Offenses, 3:22 p.m.

Report of gunshots being fired from a vehicle on Waiville Rd. NE.

911, 10:27 a.m.

911 hang-up on Voyager Ct. NE. The investigation determined it was a six-year-old trying to listen to music on mom’s iPhone. Mom was educated on the emergency SOS feature.

Assault, 5:46 a.m.

Report of assault on Sunnyside Rd. SE. One arrested for DANCO violation.

DWI, 4:20 a.m.

Vehicle reported to have person passed out behind the wheel on the 2100 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE. Female arrested for second-degree DWI.
