The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Wednesday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 28.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, NOV. 28

Disorderly Conduct, 7:01 p.m.

Officer responded to the 1700 block of Northern Cedar Ave. NW for a removal. Male wanted female arrested for being intoxicated. Female was allowed to stay at residence.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 12:46 p.m.

Reckless vehicle complaint on Paul Bunyan Dr. S. and 1st St. E. Driver arrested for DWI.

SATURDAY, NOV. 27

Traffic Stop, 11:30 p.m.

Traffic stop on Central Ave. and 7th St. SE for expired tabs. One passenger arrested, other passenger fled.

DWI, 10:02 p.m.

Male individual placed under arrest for DWI on Beltrami Ave. and 11th ST. NW. Other charges referred. Two arrests made in total.

DWI, 2:05 a.m.

Traffic stop on Minnesota Ave. and 11th St. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.

FRIDAY, NOV. 26

DWI, 10:19 p.m.

Male individual arrested for DWI on Delton Ave. and 28th St. NW.

Juvenile/Status Crimes, 6:25 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a seven-year-old out of control. Officers arrived to find him in the living room but then run into his room because he thought he was going to jail. After several minutes of calming him down and ensuring him he wouldn’t go to jail, officers gave him and his little brother stickers and let them play with the lights in the car. Mother and grandmother on site likely won’t threaten the kid with jail again.

Accident, 9:27 a.m.

HIt-and-run motor vehicle accident on 5th St. and Jefferson Ave. NW.

DWI, 3:08 a.m.

Traffic stop on Irvine Ave. and Anne St. NW. Male individual arrested for DWI.

THURSDAY, NOV. 25

Burglary, 9:51 p.m.

Officers responded to a residential burglary that occurred earlier in the evening on the 2500 block of Bemidji Ave. N.

DWI, 2:14 a.m.

Traffic stop on Beltrami Ave. and 11th St. NW. Male driver arrested for DWI.

Security Check, 1:26 a.m.

Male individual placed under arrest for multiple warrants on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 24

Property Damage, 11:54 p.m.

Officers responded to an adult male who stated that individuals threw eggs at his parked car on the 1100 block of Lake Blvd. NE.

Assault, 6:31 p.m.

Adult female placed under arrest for domestic assault on Bemidji Ave. N.

Warrant, 1:11 p.m.

Male arrested on a warrant on the 1200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Female advised of warrant court date.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, NOV. 28

Assist, 8:41 p.m.

Assist State Patrol with a traffic stop on Highway 2 and Jefferson Ave. SW. One arrested.

Hazards (dangerous), 10:43 a.m.

Deputies responded to a report of a subject possibly in the water on the 100 block of S. Movil Lake Rd. The complaint was unfounded.

SATURDAY, NOV. 27

Welfare Check, 9:04 p.m.

Assist sober driver on the 7100 block of Pete Ln. NW with placing intoxicated passenger into vehicle to go home.

Assist, 8:34 p.m.

Deputies responded to a Hubbard Deputy requesting emergency assistance on Highway 2 and County Rd. 36 SE. Situation was handled prior to deputies’ arrival. Three arrested.

Weapons Offenses, 6:53 p.m.

Person shot a raccoon on the 16000 block of Big Turtle Dr. NE.

FRIDAY, NOV. 26

Weapons Offenses, 9:37 p.m.

Multiple gun shots reported on the 11000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Unable to locate the source, no further shots heard.

Medical, 10:53 a.m.

Deputies responded to an overdose in Puposky.

Fire, 1:02 a.m.

Chimney fire reported on the 16300 block of Nebish Rd. NE in Hines.

THURSDAY, NOV. 25

Violations/Court Orders, 7:09 p.m.

Male arrested for violation of an OFP on Beaulieu Cir. NE.

Warrant, 1:30 p.m.

One arrested on 15th St. and Adams Ave. NW.

Fire, 5:56 a.m.

Garage fire reported on the 100 block of 5th St. NW in Kelliher.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 24

Weapons Offenses, 10:57 p.m.

Report of possible gun shot on 30th St. and Wolf Lake Dr. SE. Patrolled area, unable to locate.

Suspicious, 10:04 p.m.

Suspicious vehicle reported on Tranquility Ln. NW. Driver arrested for DUI.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:14 p.m.

Driving complaint on Highway 2 and Theater Ln. NW. One male arrested for DWI test refusal, second male arrested for DOC warrant.

Suspicious, 12:29 p.m.

Male knocking on doors and windows of residence on the 13100 block of Morris Hill Ln. SE. Male turned out to be family friend. All was well.

DWI, 8:30 a.m.

Traffic stop on Roosevelt Rd. and Hideaway Ln. SE. Driver arrested for DWI and DAS.
