BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, FEB. 12
Assist, 11:59 p.m.
Female sleeping in her vehicle on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Gave her other options for her safety.
Assist, 6:34 p.m.
Officers assisted BCSO Deputies and COs with a combative inmate attempting self-harm on the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 6:05 p.m.
Caller reported an unknown male pounding at her door on the 700 block of 14th St. NW who took off when she said she was calling 911. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the described male.
Suspicious, 9:42 a.m.
Report of garbage stuffed into mailbox on the 2500 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Caller was unsure if mail was stolen.
Suspicious, 5:13 a.m.
Homeowner saw someone on his home video system on the 1500 block of 5th St. NE. Officers checked his home and property for any activity.
Civil, 4:11 a.m.
Roommate brought over drunk friends on the 300 block of Central Ave. SE. Civil issue with residence as they are both on the lease.
SATURDAY, FEB. 11
Disorderly Conduct, 7:00 p.m.
Removal request on the 1100 block of East Ave. NE. Handled by BCSO. One arrested.
Assault, 2:54 p.m.
Assault involving four people on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Two suspects left the scene prior to arrival of officers.
FRIDAY, FEB. 10
Assault, 9:41 p.m.
Adult male arrested for domestic assault on Delton Ave. NW.
Assault, 9:05 p.m.
Officers responded to a domestic assault in progress on Irvine Ave. NW. One male arrested.
Welfare Check, 5:19 p.m.
Officer responded to Carr Lake Rd. and Cram Ave. SE for a female laying in the ditch. Female was transported to the ER. The 19-year-old was also cited.
Animal, 4:48 p.m.
Stray cat on the 300 block of Amos Way NW. Escaped prior to placement in pound.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 3:27 p.m.
Officers called for a road rage incident on Paul Bunyan Dr. and TruStar Ave. NW. Subject tailgating and yelling at another driver. Aggressor gone upon officer arrival.
Assault, 10:53 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of an assault on Minnesota Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 10:31 a.m.
Officer responded to a removal request for two males on the 3500 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Upon arrival, one male was arrested for an apprehension and detention order.
Assault, 8:45 a.m.
Report of a threat on the 3700 block of Division St. W.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:59 a.m.
Report of a reckless vehicle in the school drop-off lane on the 3700 block of Division St. W.
Trespass, 6:25 a.m.
Subject cited for trespassing on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.

Deputies took a phone call about a possible police impersonator.
DWI, 8:50 p.m.
Adult arrested for DWI on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Weapons Offenses, 3:46 p.m.
Deputies responded to the 10200 block of Cardinal Rd. NW for target shooting.
911, 8:34 a.m.
One cited for repeated 911 calls for non-emergency matters in Tenstrike.
SATURDAY, FEB. 11
Hazards (dangerous), 5:04 p.m.
Deputies responded to a residence on the 500 block of Balsam Ridge Rd. SW who placed rope across their ditch to keep snowmobilers out. Individual was advised to take rope down.
Warrant, 4:11 p.m.
Deputy arrested subject on local warrant on the 2300 block of Francis Ct. SE.
Medical, 12:33 p.m.
Report of possible overdose in Bemidji. Victim transported to Sanford ER. CPR in progress.
Family Matter-non criminal, 9:57 a.m.
Deputy took complaint of home water supply smelling like rotten eggs on the 12500 block of Paper Birch Dr. NE in Tenstrike.
DWI, 2:30 a.m.
Adult arrested for DWI on 15th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW.
FRIDAY, FEB. 10
Theft, 9:36 p.m.
Theft of a motorbike on the 2100 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE. Subsequent to investigation the motorbike was located and returned to owner.
DWI, 5:03 p.m.
DWI investigation on Irvine Ave. NW. Charges pending. One arrested.
Suspicious, 4:59 p.m.
Deputies responded to a welfare check on an adult female in vehicle on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Adult female arrested for DWI.
Animal, 3:27 p.m.
OC spray deployed on dog on the 22200 block of Pleasant Valley Rd. NW in Puposky to prevent injury to deputy.
Fire, 12:56 p.m.
Vehicle fire on the 4800 block of Grant Valley Rd. NW. Vehicle on fire on private property.
