BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

MONDAY, FEB. 20

Welfare Check, 9:30 p.m.

Welfare check on screaming female on the 2500 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Subject had lost her phone in the snow and was upset. No assistance was requested.

SUNDAY, FEB. 19

DWI, 10:32 p.m.

Adult female arrested for DWI on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.

Drugs, 6:51 p.m.

Parent reported their student acquired prescription drugs from another student on the 2900 block of Division St. W.

Welfare Check, 4:18 p.m.

Officer responded to the 2100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW on report of a child left in vehicle outside local business. It was determined to be a giant dog left in a running vehicle.

Assist, 3:04 p.m.

Cirtizen complained about a political sign on the 5500 block of Bemidji Ave. N. No action taken.

Property Damage, 1:02 p.m.

Report of a vehicle egged on the 100 block of 11th St. NW.

DWI, 1:27 a.m.

Traffic stop on 8th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Driver arrested for DWI.

SATURDAY, FEB. 18

DWI, 11:33 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. One arrested.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:49 p.m.

Caller reported that their house had been egged on the 1500 block of Calihan Ave. NE. No information was provided to identify any suspects.

Property Damage, 9:28 p.m.

officers received a report of a vehicle being egged on 11th St. and America Ave. NW. Officers were unable to identify suspects based on information given.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:48 p.m.

Report of egging on the 1100 block of Rice Ave. NW.

Suspicious, 3:15 p.m.

Two subjects arrested for outstanding warrants on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Ridgeway Ave. NW.

DWI, 2:01 a.m.

Traffic stop on 3rd St. and America Ave. NW. One arrested.

FRIDAY, FEB. 17

911, 9:06 p.m.

911 originally reporting suspicious activity on the 41800 block of Connelly Cir. NE. RP located high school kids playing a prank on his son so he canceled law enforcement response. High school kids aren’t as sneaky as they used to be.

DWI, 7:37 p.m.

Officers responded to the 600 block of Wood Ave. SE for a reckless vehicle. Adult male arrested for DWI.

Harassment, 5:44 p.m.

Male placed under arrest on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW for multiple offenses.

Warrant, 2:15 p.m.

Subject arrested on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW for outstanding warrant.

Suicide, 1:30 a.m.

Female transported to the ER after an apparent suicide attempt.

THURSDAY, FEB. 16

Warrant, 11:13 p.m.

Male placed under arrest for multiple warrants on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.

Traffic Stop, 10:19 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 1900 block of Middle School Dr. NW. Driver arrested.

DWI, 8:56 p.m.

Traffic stop on Beltrami Ave. and 6th St. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.

Theft, 2:17 p.m.

Stolen license plate reported on the 900 block of 30th St. NW.

Accident, 10:35 a.m.

Hit-and-run accident on Highway 71 and Anne St. NW.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 2:43 a.m.

Officer located stolen vehicle on the 1400 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Two arrested.

MONDAY, FEB. 20

Medical, 2:54 p.m.

Deputies responded to a drug overdose in Puposky.

Snowmobile, 2:26 p.m.

Theft of snowmobile reported on Clearline Rd. and Soo Line Rd. NW in Leonard.

Fire, 10:11 a.m.

Residential garage fire on the 500 block of Kelliher Rd. SW in the City of Kelliher.

Sex Crimes, 9:39 a.m.

Deputy took a report of the dissemination of child pornography in Bemidji.

SATURDAY, FEB. 18

Weapons Offenses, 3:57 p.m.

Complaint of possible unsafe firearms shooting on Three Island Access NE in Turtle River. Unfounded.

Medical, 3:51 p.m.

Deputies assisted the Leech Lake Tribal Police and Leech Lake Ambulance Service with a possible overdose in Cass Lake.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:37 p.m.

One arrested on the 600 block of Wood Ave. SE.

Accident, 4:41 p.m.

One-vehicle rollover crash with injuries on the 29000 block of Irvine Ave. NE in Puposky.

911 misdial while exercising onFrohn Rd. SE. No assistance needed.
