The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, April 1, through Sunday, April 3.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

MONDAY, APRIL 4

Welfare Check, 11:05 p.m.

Caller requested welfare check on adult female in foyer of building on the 800 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Female stated she was trying to avoid a strange male she met downtown. Officer gave female a courtesy ride.

Assault, 3:04 p.m.

Domestic assault on 30th St. NW. Male subject arrested.

Theft, 10:29 a.m.

Officers arrested a male for multiple charges stemming from a theft from a local business on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Theft, 9:16 a.m.

Theft of shower heads from the dorms at BSU on the 400 block of 19th St. NE.

Assist, 8:50 a.m.

Officer assisted DOC probation agents with taking one adult male into custody for an outstanding warrant.

Assault, 12:48 a.m.

Report of an assault on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.

SUNDAY, APRIL 3

Disorderly Conduct, 8:13 p.m.

Female arrested on multiple warrants on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Suspicious, 3:47 p.m.

Female believes someone snuck into her AC unit and disconnected her Roku on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Unfounded.

Welfare Check, 2:39 p.m.

Welfare check requested of female regarding possible overdose on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Overdose determined to be unfounded and female was well.

Burglary, 8:06 a.m.

Report of a burglary on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 6:14 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a fight involving numerous individuals on the 400 block of 15th St. NW. Subjects were separated and cleared.

DWI, 2:31 a.m.

Traffic stop on 18th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Adult female arrested for DWI.

Disorderly Conduct, 12:15 a.m.

Male individual arrested for multiple offenses on the 500 block of America Ave. NW.

SATURDAY, APRIL 2

Harassment, 8:25 p.m.

Male in psychosis claimed he was being followed and there were people in his car on Bemidji Ave. N. Officers understood that he was having hallucinations and gave him a ride home so he would feel safe.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:24 a.m.

Fire alarm and report of disorderly conduct on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. One arrested.

Disturbing the Peace, 5:53 p.m.

Report of a large party on the 600 block of 19th St. NW. Renters were warned for disorderly house.

Traffic Stop, 5:35 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 2900 block of Ridgway Ave. NW. One arrested for DWI.

Theft, 4:58 p.m.

Theft from a motor vehicle at BSU on the 1800 block of Birch Ln. NE.

Theft, 11:13 a.m.

Theft from vehicle on the 1400 block of Calihan Ave. NE.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:25 a.m.

Group of unruly individuals harassing vendor at craft sale on the 2900 block of Division St. W.

DWI, 4:13 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Driver arrested.

Medical, 3:13 a.m.

Male subject transported to the hospital after suffering from a possible drug-related overdose on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Drugs, 2:12 a.m.

Male individual arrested for multiple offenses and local warrant on the 300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.

Ordinance Violations, 12:51 a.m.

Bar check on the 300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. One cited for public urination.

FRIDAY, APRIL 1

DWI, 9:47 p.m.

Traffic stop on Fox Dr. and Adams Ave. NW. Driver arrested.

Theft, 5:06 p.m.

Theft of a vehicle on the 1300 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.

Missing Person, 1:42 p.m.

Subject left the residence on the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW carrying a cat. Subject was upset about being bipolar.

Theft, 12:48 p.m.

An officer investigated a report of a burglary on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Assault, 12:47 p.m.

Domestic assault on Ridgeway Ave. NW. Subject arrested.

Property Damage, 11:08 a.m.

Report of dead rabbits on the 200 block of Gemmel Ave. SW.

Assist, 11:02 a.m.

Probation violation arrest on the 3000 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.

DWI, 4:22 a.m.

Traffic stop on Highway 71 and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MONDAY, APRIL 4

Traffic Stop, 4:21 p.m.

Driver cited, passenger arrested for fleeing and a warrant on the 2400 block of Birchmont Beach Rd. NE.

Theft, 2:12 p.m.

Theft of items from vehicle reported on the 8300 block of Thompson Ct. NW.

Welfare Check, 7:50 a.m.

Subject found to be riding his bike just fine on Becida Rd. SW.

SUNDAY, APRIL 3

Warrant, 9:30 p.m.

Female arrested on a Beltrami warrant on Highway 2 in Solway.

Drugs, 11:33 a.m.

Drug paraphernalia collected from the roadway on the 17500 block of Patrick Ln. NE in Hines.

SATURDAY, APRIL 2

DWI, 8:53 p.m.

Female arrested for fourth-degree DWI on Mission Rd. and Power Dam Rd. NE.

Traffic Stop, 6:44 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 2300 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Two arrested, one cited.

Animal, 5:51 p.m.

Deputy responded to a cow at large on Highway 2 and Magnolia Ln. NW. Animal was not located but owner was contacted and will be looking.

Medical, 6:31 a.m.

Child injured falling from bed in Cass Lake. Forwarded to Beltrami County Health and Human Services for information.

DWI, 12:57 a.m.

Female was arrested for DWI on Irvine Ave. and Lake Julia Dr. NW. She will be released to a sober party and cited for fourth-degree DWI.

FRIDAY, APRIL 1

Assist, 10:56 p.m.

One arrested on the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Welfare Check, 3:35 p.m.

Female arrested for DOC warrant on the 9200 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Traffic Stop, 2:27 p.m.

Female was arrested for DWI on the 400 block of Park Ave. SW in Wilton.

Theft, 12:30 p.m.

Report of a theft on the 200 block of Island View Dr. NE.

Traffic Stop, 12:24 a.m.

Traffic stop on Park Ave. and Main St. SW in Wilton. DWI investigation. No charges pending. One arrested.

Assist, 12:04 a.m.

Assist Hubbard County with a vehicle not stopping on the 51600 block of Highway 71 S. Driver arrested.
