The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, April 8, through Sunday, April 10.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, APRIL 10

Assault, 2:27 a.m.

Reported on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.

SATURDAY, APRIL 9

Welfare Check, 11:02 p.m.

Anonymous caller requested welfare check on crying dog and child in apartment building on Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Officers walked through the building, unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.

Warrant, 7:12 p.m.

Adult male arrested on a local warrant on 24th St. and Park Ave. NW.

Assault, 5:04 p.m.

Officers responded to Carter Cir. SE for a domestic assault. One male arrested.

Ordinance Violations, 4:09 p.m.

Caller complaining about kids driving noisy Go-Kart on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Babysitter and kids agreed to put Go-Kart away.

Medical, 3:04 p.m.

Officer took a 911 hangup call. Caller was contacted reporting a male lying in the roadway on the 500 block of America Ave. NW. Male was subsequently transported to the emergency room for minor self-inflicted injuries.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:19 a.m.

Officers responded to a possible disorderly conduct on the 900 block of 20th St. NW. Upon arrival, nothing criminal had taken place. Male arrested for outstanding warrant.

DWI, 1:59 a.m.

Three-vehicle crash on 6th St. and Central Ave. SE. Adult female arrested for third-degree DWI.

FRIDAY, APRIL 8

Burglary, 7:18 p.m.

Garage burglary reported on the 400 block of Kay Ave. SE.

Fire, 3:12 p.m.

Reported on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 3:07 p.m.

Basketball hoop knocked over by the wind, lying across the street on the 700 block of 18th St. NW.

Assault, 2:26 a.m.

Report of an assault on America Ave. NW.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, APRIL 10

Suspicious, 11:27 p.m.

Stolen vehicle recovered on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SW. Two arrested, one cited.

Assist, 10:51 p.m.

Hubbard requested assistance with a traffic stop on Washington Ave. and 500th St. Male passenger arrested for felony Beltrami warrant.

Burglary, 5:39 p.m.

Possible burglary was reported of an unoccupied residence on Roosevelt Rd. SE.

Property Damage, 1:46 p.m.

Deputy responded to a delayed report of a residence struck by gunfire on the 10200 block of Cardinal Rd. NW.

Burglary, 1:17 p.m.

Deputies advised of a possible burglary on Finn N Feather Blvd. SE.

Traffic Stop, 12:18 a.m.

Traffic stop on Highway 2 and 15th St. NW. Adult female arrested for DWI, fifth-degree drugs, child endangerment, and false name.

SATURDAY, APRIL 9

Warrant, 3:06 p.m.

Deputy arrested an adult male on a Cass County warrant on the 2700 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE.

Warrant, 10:54 a.m.

Male was arrested for an outstanding warrant on Highway 2.

Warrant, 1:14 a.m.

Report of an unfounded criminal sexual conduct on Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake. Female arrested for outstanding warrant.

FRIDAY, APRIL 8

Weapons Offenses, 9:18 p.m.

One call of heard gunshots on the 1800 block of Little Norway Ave. SE. No signs of distress in the area.

Traffic Stop, 5:31 p.m.

One arrested on the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 3:29 p.m.

Problems with the bed delivery people reported on the 2300 block of Madison Ave. SW.

Juvenile/Status Crimes, 3:02 p.m.

Runaway report. One adult arrested.

Disturbing the Peace, 10:00 a.m.

Reporting party unhappy with neighbor for washing clothes in the middle of the night on 71 Connection NE.

Violations/Court Orders, 9:54 a.m.

Deputies responded to a possible DANCO violation in Bemidji. Deputies arrested a male for DANCO violation and DWI.

Accident, 2:54 a.m.

One-vehicle accident on Irvine Ave. and Highway 71 NW. Female driver arrested for DWI.
