The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, May 19, through Sunday, May 21.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, MAY 21
Violations/Court Orders, 8:46 p.m.
Officers responded to Ridgeway Ave. NW on report of a civil dispute over property, which turned into a violation of a court order. One male arrested.
DWI, 8:19 p.m.
Traffic stop on 15th St. and Middle School Dr. NW. One arrested.
Theft, 7:29 p.m.
Theft of items from a vehicle on the 500 block of 19th St. NW.
Fraud, 7:19 p.m.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW to a female using several fraudulent credit cards. One arrested.
Theft, 5:03 p.m.
Theft from vehicle on the 2400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Officer located property and it was returned.
Disorderly Conduct, 4:10 p.m.
Trespass and provided a fictitious name on the 1800 block of Birch Ln. NE. Subject arrested.
DWI, 2:45 a.m.
Traffic stop on 1st St. and Central Ave. SE. Two arrested.
DWI, 12:36 a.m.
Traffic stop on 6th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Driver arrested.
SATURDAY, MAY 20
DWI, 11:40 p.m.
Traffic stop on 3rd St. and Central Ave. SE. One arrested.
Disturbing the Peace, 10:14 p.m.
Caller reported adult male pounding on neighbor’s apartment door on Minnesota Ave. NW. Subject was locked out, trying to wake girlfriend to open the door.
Suspicious, 10:05 p.m.
Caller reported 5-6 kids pulling at door handle of a closed business on Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate anyone. Nothing suspicious found at the business.
Suspicious, 10:04 p.m.
Suspicious white passenger car circling the block of Maurice Ave. and 10th St. NW with people screaming inside. Unable to locate vehicle.
Traffic Stop, 8:29 p.m.
Traffic stop on Middle School Dr. and 23rd St. NW. One arrested.
Assist, 12:31 p.m.
Officer spoke to a male who stated he had information on narcotics sales in Bemidji. The male did in fact not have any pertinent information about narcotics sales,
Assist, 11:01 a.m.
Officers provided advice on what to do with an unwanted and unpredictable dog.
DWI, 2:08 a.m.
Traffic stop on 5th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. One arrested.
Burglary, 12:04 a.m.
Adult male arrested for burglary, domestic assault and warrant on Delton Ave. NW.
FRIDAY, MAY 19
Assist, 7:50 p.m.
Possible but very vague drug information from a concerned family member.
Accident, 5:15 p.m.
Officers responded to an accident with possible injuries on Power Dam Rd. and Lake Ave. NE.
Welfare Check, 3:33 p.m.
Welfare check for female on America Ave. NW who took muscle relaxers, possibly trying to overdose. Female not in need of medical care and son placed with other family for the evening.
Suspicious, 12:39 p.m.
Suspicious person checking car doors on the 600 block of 14th St. NW the previous night. Extra patrol request.
Theft, 12:11 p.m.
Theft from vehicle on Beltrami Ave. and 4th St. NW. No suspect identified.
Theft, 10:44 a.m.
Officer took a theft from vehicle report on the 1400 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
Assist, 7:58 a.m.
Subject called in to report her possibly passing a school bus with its lights on. No report ever made by school.
Assault, 2:33 a.m.
Male placed under arrest for assault on the 700 block of 3rd St. SE.

SUNDAY, MAY 21
Weapons Offenses, 4:19 p.m.
Adult arrested for DWI on the 1800 block of Francis Ct. SE.
Assault, 12:37 a.m.
Report of a domestic assault on Perry Creek Rd. NE in Blackduck. Female party arrested.
SATURDAY, MAY 20
Traffic Stop, 10:38 p.m.
Deputies executed a search warrant for narcotics following a traffic stop on the 20600 block of Jenkins Rd. SE in Cass Lake. During the traffic stop, a party fled and ran into a residence. Multiple parties arrested.
ATV, 4:16 p.m.
Deputies responded to a crash on the 1600 block of Bald Eagle Dr. SE in Cass Lake. Driver airlifted to Fargo.
DWI, 12:17 p.m.
Traffic stop subject arrested for DWI on Island View Dr. and Irvine Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 4:19 a.m.
Male arrested for disorderly conduct and minor consumption on the 19700 block of Plantation Rd. SE in Cass Lake.
DWI, 2:44 a.m.
Adult arrested for DWI and driver’s license status offense on the 1300 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Assist, 12:36 a.m.
Assist Cass County with a drive-by shooting on the 6000 block of Facility Center DR. in Cass Lake.
FRIDAY, MAY 19
Pursuit, 8:40 p.m.
Pursuit on Majestic Pines Ln. and Irvine Ave. NW. Investigation pending.
Harassment, 2:27 p.m.
Driver got a speeding ticket from a Bemidji Police officer and was upset about it. Unfounded report.
Disturbing the Peace, 1:59 a.m.
Deputies responded to the report of two suspected gunshots on the 10700 block of Sandpiper Rd. Ne. Area checked, unable to locate.
