The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Thursday, May 28, to Sunday, May 31.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, MAY 31

Suspicious, 10:45 p.m.

An officer advised a male of the curfew in effect on 4th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. The male left without incident.

Agency Assist, 10:41 p.m.

Agency assist on the 200 block of 4th St. NW. Adult male arrested for multiple charges.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:50 p.m.

Officer spoke with a male party regarding the curfew in place on the 1700 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:24 p.m.

An officer spoke to two males and advised them of the curfew. The males left 4th St. and Beltrami Ave. NW without incident.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:28 p.m.

Officer observed two individuals on bicycles violating curfew on Irvine Ave. and 30th St. NW. Individuals were given a verbal warning about curfew.

Pursuit, 5:56 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of a reckless driver. One arrested on Highway 71 NW.

Suspicious, 12:56 p.m.

Officer checked on suspicious activity on the 600 block of 24th St. NW. Officer was notified of two male occupants of the vehicle staring at females. Officer was not able to locate the vehicle. Nothing further needed from officer.

Report of subject buying suspicious items on the 1400 block of 4th St. SE.

Theft, 12:10 p.m.

Theft of firearm from vehicle on the 600 block of 18th St. NW.

Property Damage, 6:39 a.m.

Broken window reported on the 400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE.

Accident, 5:35 a.m.

Driving while impaired on the 4400 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. One arrested.

Assault, 4:39 a.m.

Adult male arrested for domestic assault by strangulation and obstructing the legal process with force.

Property Damage, 2:06 a.m.

Individual damaged officer’s BWC (body worn camera).

Burglary, 1:32 a.m.

Officers responded to a possible burglary in process on the 700 block of Pershing Ave. SE. One arrested.

Traffic Stop, 1:21 a.m.

Traffic stop on Dewey Ave. and 12th. St. NE. Driver advised of the curfew order.

Public Relations, 1:05 a.m.

Officers conducted a foot patrol on the 800 block of 26th St. NW. Multiple individuals warned about being out during curfew.

SATURDAY, MAY 30

Traffic Stop, 9:56 p.m.

Traffic stop on Minnkota Ave. and Anne St. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.

Disorderly Conduct, 3:54 p.m.

One arrested for disorderly conduct on 6th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW.

Security Check, 1:42 p.m.

Security check on the 100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr.

Welfare Check, 12:27 p.m.

Checked on parties laying in the grass enjoying a nice day on the 100 block of 29th St. NE.

FRIDAY, MAY 29

Disturbing the Peace, 11:26 p.m.

Officers responded to a loud music complaint on the 1300 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Landowner turned the music off.

DWI, 10:25 p.m.

Traffic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Highway 71 NW. Adult female arrested for DWI.

Disturbing the Peace, 9:46 p.m.

Officers advised renters to turn their music down on the 1800 block of Northern Cedar Ave. NW.

Suspicious, 8:43 p.m.

Officer spoke with individual who was yelling and using vulgar language in front of children on 4th St. and Beltrami Ave. NW.

Sex Crimes, 7:49 p.m.

An officer took a report of a sex crime. The suspect was located on the 900 block of 26th St. NW and arrested.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:33 p.m.

Reprot of 5 to 6 people drinking near the steps of Grandma’s Attic on the 500 block of 3rd St. NW. Group moved along but one intoxicated male needed an ambulance for high level of ETOH.

Disorderly Conduct, 12:32 p.m.

Citation and arrest on the 200 block of Mississippi Ave. NW.

Theft, 9:25 a.m.

Theft of handgun reported on the 1400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.

Agency Assist, 5:12 a.m.

Adult male arrested on an outstanding warrant on Washington Ave. and Oak Hills Rd. SW.

Welfare Check, 1:06 a.m.

Adult male arrested for minor consumption of alcohol while driving on 30th St. and Pine Ridge Ave. NW.

THURSDAY, MAY 28

Property Damage, 11:30 p.m.

Report of property damage on the 700 block of 18th St. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 11:09 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a removal on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One individual arrested for an outstanding warrant.

DWI, 9:04 p.m.

Traffic stop on 30th St. and Park Ave. NW. Driver arrested for DWI, passenger arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:50 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. One arrested on a warrant.

Fire, 6:35 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of a residential fire on the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Assist, 6:16 p.m.

Officer accepted meal donations.

Welfare Check, 5:11 p.m.

Male was removed from sleeping in the road on the 800 block of Mississippi Ave. NW.

Property Damage, 4:59 p.m.

Officer took a report of property damage on the 700 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Sex Crimes, 2:01 p.m.

Officers responded to an indecent exposure incident on the 1700 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.

Disturbing the Peace, 1:02 p.m.

Individual was warned about the noise coming from her apartment. Individual was having a birthday party with a bunch of children. No actions taken.

DWI, 3:16 a.m.

Traffic stop on 26th St. and Park Ave. NW. Adult female arrested for DWI and receiving stolen property.

Disorderly Conduct, 12:48 a.m.

Officers responded to noise complaint on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Parties were warned and the party was ceased.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, MAY 31

Suspicious, 10:41 p.m.

Male party fleeing law enforcement on foot on the 200 block of 4th St. NW. He was arrested then released with a citation.

Harassment, 9:01 p.m.

Local residence on the 9000 block of Division STt. W checked due to an online threat, nothing out of the ordinary observed.

Accident, 8:25 p.m.

One vehicle rollover with injuries on Highway 2 and Theater Ln. NW.

Agency Assist, 6:28 p.m.

Assist BPD with vehicle pursuit. Male driver arrested for fleeing, DWI on Highway 71 NW.

Property Damage, 4:51 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 8000 block of Old Long Lake Rd. NW for  a complaint of property destruction by a disorderly male on a lawnmower. Male was arrested for DWI and GM obstruction.

Fire, 3:25 p.m.

Fire reported on the 11800 block of Misty Meadows Rd. SW.

Property, 12:02 p.m.

Report of theft of electricity and theft of tools from an outbuilding on the 2000 block of Monarch Dr. SW.

Welfare Check, 2:17 a.m.

911 call with a female screaming for help in Cass Lake. Deputies located her and arrested a male party for domestic assault.

SATURDAY, MAY 30

Disorderly Conduct, 8:14 p.m.

One arrested on Minnesota Ave. and 5th St. NW.

Assault, 7:54 p.m.

One arrested for assault on the 1000 block of Thomas Rd. SW.

Agency Assist, 6:25 a.m.

Verbal altercation between girlfriend’s father and boyfriend about girlfriend leaving to International Falls. Boyfriend left scene in Blackduck back to International Falls.

DWI, 4:24 a.m.

Traffic stop on HIghway 2 and Plantagenet Rd. SE. Driver arrested for DWI, passenger arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Suspicious, 3:05 a.m.

One arrested on the 18500 block of Mission Rd. SE.

Alarm, 2:45 a.m.

Residential alarm on the 700 block of Bald Eagle Dr. SE. Male taken into custody for burglary.

Suspicious, 12:32 a.m.

Report of two suspicious males walking with flashlights near the entrance of the Grass Lake Mobile Home Park. One male was arrested for an active warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

FRIDAY, MAY 29

Assault, 7:59 p.m.

Male party struck with a glass bottle on the 200 block of Old Silver Lake Rd. NE. Witnesses and victim were uncooperative. Male victim was transported by ambulance.

Medical, 5:10 p.m.

Deputy administered NARCAN and patient regained consciousness. Transported to hospital by ambulance.

Theft, 4:41 p.m.

Reported on the 25300 block of Lanet Rd. NE in Blackduck.

Burglary, 4:07 p.m.

Burglary of unoccupied home on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW.

Fire, 6:17 a.m.

Deputy responded to a shed fire on the 4700 block of Whitetail Rd. NE. Fire department put out the fire.

Traffic Stop, 5:12 a.m.

Traffic stop on Washington Ave. and Oak Hills Rd. SW. Arrested one for drug DWI and warrants.

THURSDAY, MAY 28

Suspicious, 9:32 p.m.

Suspicious male standing in the driveway of a residence on the 19500 block of Mission Rd. SE in Cass Lake. Male party was arrested for multiple warrants and transported by Leech Lake Tribal Police to the Cass County Jail.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:01 p.m.

Adult male arrested for domestic assault in Shevlin.

Burglary, 3:49 p.m.

Deputy responded to a complaint of a storage unit burglary on the 8800 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Initial report taken.

Juvenile/Status Crimes, 1:12 p.m.

Deputy assisted complainants with questions regarding his son’s possession of a Taser.

Suspicious, 12:25 p.m.

Deputy took a report of kids playing near the mailboxes and an opened letter on the 2600 block of Dolphin Ct. SE.

Harassment, 12:02 p.m.

Report of an unhappy customer sending harassing emails to a beer distributor. Incident documented.

Trespass, 6:03 a.m.

Deputy took a report of an unknown female found in a garage on the 6800 block of Dickinson Dr. NW.

Disturbing the Peace, 12:04 a.m.

Complaint of loud music on the 4600 block of Allens Bay Dr. SE in Cass Lake. Case handled by Leech Lake Tribal Police.
