The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Thursday, June 4, to Sunday, June 7.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, JUNE 7

Disorderly Conduct, 5:08 p.m.

Reporting party reports she got into an argument with another driver and after she followed the other driver home, people swore at her. Reporting party advised not to follow other drivers home.

Suspicious, 2:44 p.m.

Male reported third hand report of possible stalking and neighborhood issues on the 1200 block of Park Ave. NW. Officer provided male guidance on how to proceed with neighbor issues.

SATURDAY, JUNE 6

Fire, 9:08 p.m.

Reported on the 1800 block of Minnesota Ct. NW. Four cited.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:22 p.m.

Officers assisted and advised on a vehicle parked at a local business on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Vehicle was parked at the business due to a previous arrest.

Family Crimes, 10:52 a.m.

Newborn placed on a 72-hour hold.

DWI, 12:53 a.m.

Traffic stop on 4th St. and Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Driver arrested for DUI.

FRIDAY, JUNE 5

Suspicious, 10:57 p.m.

Officers were called for a suspicious female on 7th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Female was concerned for her shopping cart.

DWI, 10:48 p.m.

Traffic stop on 18th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI and DAC-IPS.

DWI, 7:25 p.m.

Report of a possibly intoxicated driver on Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Adult male arrested for DWI.

Suspicious, 6:02 p.m.

Business owner discovered a pile of throwing size rocks in the alleyway on the 400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Rocks have been removed.

Burglary, 12:13 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of a possible burglary on the 900 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Welfare Check, 9:07 a.m.

Subject laying on lawn on Stoner Ave. NE. Subject refused any assistance and walked away.

Public Relations, 8:50 a.m.

Officers fielded questions about upcoming demonstration.

Warrant, 8:07 a.m.

Adult male arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW.

Agency Assist, 5:15 a.m.

Officers assisted BCSO with a one vehicle rollover on Highway 2 and Paul Bunyan Dr. SE.

Suspicious, 2:25 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Passenger arrested on US Marshals warrant.

DWI, 12:20 a.m.

Officer arrested female for DWI on the 600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.

THURSDAY, JUNE 4

Welfare Check, 11:24 p.m.

Welfare check on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Female arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

DWI, 9:42 p.m.

Traffic stop on Minnesota Ave. and Algoma St. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI. Passenger arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Suspicious, 9:42 p.m.

Officer observed suspicious vehicle on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Officer made contact with occupants who were geocaching.

Welfare Check, 5:24 p.m.

An officer responded to a partially unclothed individual passed out in the grass on Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. The individual was woken and agreed to right his attire and move along.

Suspicious, 2:49 p.m.

Report of a person looking in dumpsters and taking photographs on the 400 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Individual was identified to be a Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office Investigator.

Theft, 12:08 p.m.

Bike theft reported on the 1200 block of 30th St. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:28 a.m.

Subject arrested on outstanding warrant after report of subject passed out on sidewalk on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.

Assault, 6:27 a.m.

Domestic assault arrest.

DWI, 12:56 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Adult female arrested for DWI.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, JUNE 7

Suspicious, 11:38 p.m.

Report of items dumped in a driveway on the 7600 block of Little Bass Lake Rd. NE. Deputies located a junk grill, typewriter, and some trash without names dumped at the end of the driveway. Caller will clean up mess.

Animal, 7:58 p.m.

Ten cows and four calves were found in the caller’s yard on the 19700 block of Pinewood Rd. NW.

DWI, 7:17 p.m.

Male arrested for DAC IPS and felony DWI on the 2800 block of Division St. W.

Suspicious, 1:27 p.m.

Adult arrested after short foot pursuit on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW. Taser deployed.

Accident, 9:51 a.m.

Subject fell out of driver’s seat and was run over by own vehicle on the 20100 block of Otto Way NE in Kelliher.

DWI, 3:15 a.m.

Male arrested for DWI on the 10300 block of Turtle River Lake Rd. NE.

SATURDAY, JUNE 6

Accident, 10:26 p.m.

Two vehicle accident with multiple injuries on Highway 89 and Highway 2 NW.

DWI, 1:36 a.m.

Female drove her car into the Blackduck Lake Access. She was cited for 4th degree DWI.

Assault, 1:03 a.m.

Report of domestic assault in Blackduck.

FRIDAY, JUNE 5

Boat, 8:54 p.m.

Report of a boat that capsized on Lake Julia. No injuries or damage.

911, 6:26 p.m.

911 misdial. Subject was tubing down river and called by mistake.

Theft, 9:41 a.m.

Deputies responded to a theft complaint on the 20500 block of Williams Rd. SE in Cass Lake.

Theft, 8:47 a.m.

Items located by owner on property on the 700 block of Wagon Wheel Dr. SE.

Disorderly Conduct, 8:06 a.m.

Report of rude, disorderly neighbors on the 11800 block of Paper Birch Dr. NE in Tenstrike.

Accident, 5:15 a.m.

Deputies responded to a rollover crash on Highway 2 and Paul Bunyan Dr. SE.

THURSDAY, JUNE 4

Suspicious, 11:26 p.m.

Suspicious vehicle reported on Irvine Ave. NW. Male driver identified and explained he was playing Pokemon Go.

Fire, 8:24 p.m.

Deputy checked on lawful brush fire on the 13200 block of Beaver Rd. NE.

DWI, 2:56 p.m.

Deputy observed revoked driver about to exit a parking lot into a public roadway on the 200 block of Spirit Ave. NW in Wilton. Deputy made contact with driver of vehicle. Driver arrested for DWI.

Suspicious, 6:27 a.m.

Deputies assisted Bemidji PD in looking for a suspect vehicle on the 19600 block of Irvine Ave. NW. No action needed by deputies. One arrested.

Assault, 4:07 a.m.

Domestic assault in Bemidji.
