BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, AUG. 23
Assault, 8:09 p.m.
An individual reported a young child had ben struck by another child with a stick on the 900 block of 30th St. NW> Mothers and children were spoken to about safety and behaviors.
Assist, 7:55 p.m.
Officer assisted State Patrol on a traffic stop on 18th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Passenger arrested for DANCO violation. Two arrests made in total.
911, 3:25 p.m.
Adult male cited for property damage and arrested for outstanding warrants on the 1100 block of Park Ave. SW.
Accident, 2:37 p.m.
Minor vehicle collision on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.
Burglary, 7:53 a.m.
Burglary report on the 1200 block of Miles Ave. SE.
SATURDAY, AUG. 22
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 11:43 p.m.
Officer took a report of impaired driver leaving residence with juvenile child in vehicle on the 600 block of Patriot Dr. NW. One arrested.
Disturbing the Peace, 9:22 p.m.
Officer took a report of Domestic Assault on Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.
Theft, 12:31 p.m.
Theft from vehicle reported on the 1700 block of Bemidji Ave. N.
Theft, 12:18 p.m.
Theft from Walmart. One arrested.
Accident, 8:57 a.m.
Vehicle one rear-ended vehicle two while driving down the road on 15th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. One arrested.
DWI, 1:57 a.m.
Traffic stop on Irvine Ave. and 11th St. NW. One arrested for DWI.
DWI, 1:20 a.m.
Traffic stop on Birchmont Dr. and 12th St. NE. Adult male arrested for DWI.
FRIDAY, AUG. 21
Accident, 10:14 p.m.
Report of a vehicle in the ditch on Park Ave. and 5th St. NW. Driver was arrested for a litany of charges.
Disturbing the Peace, 8:06 p.m.
Officer spoke with individuals in regards to a large party on the 1400 block of America Ave. NW. Officer returned and shut the party down.
DWI, 2:02 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 4000 block of Supreme Ct. NW. Multiple individuals placed under arrest.
Assault, 12:29 a.m.
Officer was flagged down by a male party that had been assaulted on the 300 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Officers arrested a female subject.
THURSDAY, AUG. 20
DWI, 9:50 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Adult female arrested for an outstanding warrant and DWI.
Drugs, 4:50 p.m.
Officer located grass seed on the sidewalk on the 700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. No further actions taken.
Accident, 4:24 p.m.
Individual on a bike hit by a vehicle on the 700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Suspicious, 1:36 p.m.
Officer checked on three children inside a vehicle on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Children were found to be fine. No further actions taken.
Disorderly Conduct, 6:30 a.m.
Female yelling at a construction worker was moved along on the 2200 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
DWI, 3:34 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.
Assault, 2:40 a.m.
Report of an assault on the 800 block of 26th St. NW. Two males arrested.

SUNDAY, AUG. 23
ATV, 11:19 p.m.
ATV causing damage to lawn on the 900 block of Porcupine Rd. SE in Cass Lake.
Theft, 7:05 p.m.
Theft of services reported on the 400 block of Merle Ct. NE. Suspect located and had cash to make good on debt. Subject was taken into custody on outstanding warrant.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 11:41 p.m.
Vehicle crash on Irvine Ave. and Highway 71 NW. Damage to the bridge guardrail, one arrested for DWI.
Weapons Offenses, 10:33 p.m.
Explosion of unknown origin reported on the 4800 block of Kitchi Landing Ln. NE in Blackduck.
Animal, 2:31 p.m.
Report of neighbor purposely killing pet dog on the 64100 block of Flintlock Rd. NW in Grygla. Under investigation.
Accident, 1:33 p.m.
Deputies assisted the MN State Patrol at a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Washington Ave. and Highway 2 SE.
Assist, 11:43 a.m.
Deputy responded to the report of an adult female driving under the influence on the 11200 block of Quiring Rd. NE in Blackduck. Driver arrested for DUI.
Burglary, 10:37 a.m.
Deputy took a report of a burglary to storage units on the 25500 block of Highway 72 NE in Blackduck.
FRIDAY, AUG. 21
Weapons Offenses, 7:42 p.m.
Concerned about neighbor’s activities on the 26100 block of President Dr. NW in Pinewood.
Medical, 7:32 p.m.
Deputies responded to a medical in Bemidji. Eighteen-year-old female hallucinating on acid.
SWAT, 3:35 p.m.
Deputies and officers executed search warrant to assist investigation.
Property Damage, 9:54 a.m.
Straps on trailer intentionally cut on the 4000 block of Gryce Styne Rd. NE.

Alarm, 9:59 a.m.
Attempted burglary on the 13300 block of Brentwood Dr. NW in Pinewood.
