BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, AUG. 30
Suspicious, 4:26 p.m.
Impaired female complaining about a broken window to her residence that was reported months earlier. She called later to report hearing banging which was determined to be the neighbor painting the exterior of the house on the 1400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Harassment, 2:56 p.m.
Report of vulgar language written in chalk on a driveway on the 700 block of 37th St. NW.
Property Damage, 11:38 a.m.
Rusted out light pole fell on a vehicle in a private parking lot on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Suspicious, 5:10 a.m.
Officers responded to a female screaming on Ridgeway Ave. and 30th St. NW. Female was transported via ambulance.
DWI, 1:34 a.m.
Traffic stop on 8th St. and Bemidji Ave. N. Adult male arrested for DWI.
Assault, 12:41 a.m.
Officer took a report of an assault at a local bar on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW.
SATURDAY, AUG. 29
Disorderly Conduct, 11:16 p.m.
Officers responded to a disturbance on the 1800 block of Park Ave. NW. Adult female arrested on a local warrant.
Medical, 8:20 p.m.
Officers responded to a possible drug overdose on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Burglary, 6:16 p.m.
Officers took a report of a burglary on the 700 block of 21st St. NW.
Animal, 4:54 p.m.
Officer responded to a found kitten on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Upon arrival, the kitten did not want to be caught and was no longer in the finder’s possession.
Property Damage, 9:07 a.m.
Caller reported someone bent her windshield wiper on the 500 block of Kay Ave. SE.
Theft, 8:43 a.m.
Report of shoplifting on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Individual arrested.
Weapons Offenses, 4:12 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
DWI, 12:28 a.m.
Traffic stop on 15th St. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI.
FRIDAY, AUG. 28
Disturbing the Peace, 6:44 p.m.
Loud party complaint on the 900 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Officer found four people on patio listening to music. Advised of the complaint. Unfounded.
Warrant, 2:35 p.m.
Unsubstantiated vehicle theft report that occurred in Cass County. Female arrested on a warrant on the 6200 block of Upper Cass Frontage Rd. in Cass Lake.
Suspicious, 4:42 a.m.
Officer checked on a vehicle with its doors open on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. It appears radio was taken.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:35 a.m.
Officer witnessed two individuals who appeared to be fighting on the 600 block of 2nd St. SE. The individuals were determined to be friends joking around.
Suspicious, 12:28 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW. One arrested.
THURSDAY, AUG. 27
Drugs, 11:39 p.m.
Officers responded to a possible overdose on the 1200 block of 1st St. E.
Family Crimes, 8:40 p.m.
A male was arrested for child abuse on the 900 block of 30th St. NW.
DWI, 7:46 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 1700 block of 30th St. NW. Multiple individuals placed under arrest for several violations.
Suspicious, 6:19 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on 13th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. One arrested for outstanding warrants.
Drugs, 3:14 p.m.
Overdose reported on the 900 block of 30th St. NW.
Disturbing the Peace, 5:35 a.m.
Concrete contractor was advised of city ordinance on construction starting before 0700 hours on the 2300 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.
DWI, 2:52 a.m.
Traffic stop on Anne St. and Tamarack Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI and driving after suspension.

SUNDAY, AUG. 30
Warrant, 3:38 p.m.
A female was arrested for a felony warrant on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.
Burglary, 1:31 p.m.
Deputies responded to a burglary on the 2000 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.
ATV, 1:18 p.m.
ATV crash on Grange Rd. NW. One adult transported to ER.
Warrant, 1:23 a.m.
Male arrested for warrant on the 29300 block of US Highway 2.
SATURDAY, AUG. 29
Disturbing the Peace, 9:11 p.m.
Deputy responded to a party complaint on the 200 block of Old Silver Lake Rd. SE in Cass Lake. Was found to be a family camping.
Disturbing the Peace, 8:43 p.m.
Report of a raging party on the 9400 block of Bemidji Rd. NE. Deputy located a freshly married couple hosting a dance complete with a DJ.
Warrant, 2:06 a.m.
Warrant pick up from Hubbard County at Animal Land Dr. SE.
FRIDAY, AUG. 28
SWAT, 5:41 p.m.
SWAT callout for burglary and assault suspect making threats of using a firearm on himself and made suicidal comments of suicide by cop. Subject taken into custody without incident by SWAT.
Violations/Court Orders, 4:41 p.m.
One arrested on the 100 block of 6th St. NW in Cass Lake.
Assault, 1:29 p.m.
Report of an assault on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW. One arrested.
Burglary, 11:28 a.m.
Deputy took report of assault/burglary on the 7700 block of Memorial Ln. NW. One arrested.

Agency Assist, 11:58 p.m.
Assist Blackduck Police Department with an arrest for DWI on the 200 block of Frontage Rd. in Blackduck.
Assist, 10:46 p.m.
Sounds of shots heard, one male reported being shot at on Williams Rd. SE in Cass Lake.
Traffic Stop, 7:49 p.m.
Traffic stop on Scenic Highway and Roadrunner Dr. NE. One female arrested for false name and warrants.
Warrant, 9:10 a.m.
Outside county requested the arrest of a male with outstanding felony warrant. Deputies located and arrested subject on the 2200 block of Jones Townhall Rd. NW in Solway.

Burglary reported on the 400 block of Archery Rd. NW.
