The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Thursday, Sept. 16, to Sunday, Sept. 19.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, SEPT. 19
Welfare Check, 8:45 p.m.
Disturbance call on 4th St. NW. Family of male brought him food and left on his doorstep but he threw the food back at them and yelled for them to leave his residence. Family is seeking mental health help for male but he refuses treatment.
Disorderly Conduct, 8:38 p.m.
Officer responded to the report of teenagers running in the hallway of an apartment complex on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Upon arrival, officer did not observe emergency or criminal activity.
DWI, 8:04 p.m.
Officers responded to a verbal domestic on 10th St. NW. Female driver was arrested for DWI.
Accident, 2:14 p.m.
One arrested on Anne St. and Park Ave. NW.
Weapons Offenses, 2:18 a.m.
Officers responded to the report of a male with a firearm on the 300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Multiple individuals placed under arrest.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 18
Assault, 10:22 p.m.
Adult male placed under arrest for domestic assault on Division St. W.
Fire, 3:26 p.m.
Open fire pit on the 100 block of Gemmel Ave. SW. Fire was put out and subject warned.
Burglary, 3:38 a.m.
Officers responded to two individuals attempting to gain entry into a business on the 600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Subjects were placed under arrest for multiple violations.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 17
DWI, 8:35 p.m.
Report of a reckless vehicle on the 900 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE. Driver arrested for DWI.
DWI, 4:32 a.m.
Officer conducted traffic stop on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Male individual was detained for possible DWI.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:02 a.m.
Officer responded to a report of a disorderly male on the 2900 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. One male arrested on outstanding warrant.
Warrant, 12:39 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SW. Driver fled on foot, driver arrested on multiple charges.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 16
Welfare Check, 11:27 p.m.
Officer arrested an adult male for an out-of-county warrant during a welfare check. Male was transported to an out-of-county Deputy for a custody transfer.
Agency Assist, 8:46 p.m.
Assisted BCSO with a death investigation on the 1900 block of Fox. Dr. NW.
Assault, 2:49 p.m.
Officer assisted another agency on a warrant arrest on the 5000 block of Theater Ln. NW.
Theft, 2:25 p.m.
Shoplifting on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Subject cited and arrested on a warrant.
Burglary, 1:23 p.m.
Apartment office broken into on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Violations/Court Orders, 8:47 a.m.
Officer responded to a court order violation on the 500 block of 24th St. NW. Charges added to in-custody arrest.
Warrant, 7:43 a.m.
Assisted PBTF with search warrant on the 300 block of Gould Ave. NE. Placed three children on a hold with social services.
Suspicious, 7:06 a.m.
Theft on the 2800 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Subjected cited and arrested on a warrant.
Medical, 12:47 a.m.
Officers responded to a medical on the 500 block of Justice Rd. NW. Miscellaneous drug paraphernalia items placed into evidence for destruction.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SUNDAY, SEPT. 19
DWI, 6:41 p.m.
Deputies responded to a report of an attempted assault with a firearm on Irvine Ave. and Sinkhole Rd. NW. Female complainant was found to be highly intoxicated and hallucinating and was subsequently arrested for DWI.
Assault, 2:48 p.m.
Assault complaint on the 7100 block of Pinto Ln. NW.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 18
Warrant, 11:44 a.m.
One arrested on the 6200 block of Upper Cass Frontage Rd. in Cass Lake.
Snowmobile, 9:43 a.m.
Recovered snow machine on the 1400 block of Stone Lake Rd. NW. Most likely stolen from Wilton area.
Disorderly Conduct, 5:54 a.m.
Female drug overdose on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SW.
Assist, 12:12 a.m.
Deputy responded to the 16500 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE, did not provide assistance. Two arrested.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 17
Pursuit, 3:49 p.m.
LLTPD pursued a stolen vehicle into Bemidji on Roosevelt Rd. and Swenson Rd. SE. Pursuit terminated.
Theft, 10:02 a.m.
Theft of a catalytic converter reported on Windy Hill Ln. SW.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 16
Warrant, 8:43 p.m.
Male arrested for out-of-county warrant, second-degree DWI, driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety, and no motor vehicle insurance on the 11300 block of Chokecherry DR. NE.
Suspicious, 12:56 p.m.
Deputy advised of loud banging noises from the area of the 400 block of Carr Lake Rd. SE. Area was checked and nothing out of the ordinary was located.
Burglary, 5:51 a.m.
Juvenile arrested for burglary and male theft on the 8700 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
