The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Sept. 24, to Sunday, Sept. 26.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, SEPT. 26
Welfare Check, 4:10 p.m.
Subject laying on sidewalk on 3rd St. and America Ave. NW. Subject agreed to move on after being advised of public nuisance/disorderly ordinance.
Theft, 3:56 p.m.
Motor vehicle theft complaint on the 1100 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. Caller forgot where he parked.
Disorderly Conduct, 2:59 p.m.
Subject yelling by Community Services building on the 600 block of America Ave. NW. Subject identified as arrested on warrant without incident and transported to Beltrami Corrections.
Civil, 2:29 p.m.
Officer assisted a male party in how to obtain an OFP as he had a feeling his girlfriend wants to fight him on Minnesota Ave. NW. Nothing further was requested.
Theft, 2:14 p.m.
Officer took a theft from vehicle report on the 2000 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 11:35 a.m.
Subject causing a disturbance in an apartment complex on the 2500 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Subject arrested for disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer.
Violations/Court Orders, 9:39 a.m.
Trespass on the 600 block of 3rd St. NW. Individual arrested.
Disorderly Conduct, 5:30 a.m.
Female called stating there was someone on her roof on the 900 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Officers checked the roof and the area and were unable to locate anyone matching the description.
Accident, 3:30 a.m.
Officer responded to a hit-and-run car accident on 19th St. and Birchmont Dr. NE.
Welfare Check, 1:38 a.m.
Welfare check on intoxicated 911 caller not making sense on 4th St. and Beltrami Ave. NW. Friends brought caller home.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 25
Suspicious, 8:39 p.m.
Suspicious male made lewd comments to some females on the 2500 block of Birchmont Dr. NE and left the area. Unable to locate.
Escape, 12:28 p.m.
Officer responded to a male party who fled the juvenile center. Officer located and arrested the 19-year-old male on the 1200 block of 5th St. NW.
Property Damage, 12:27 p.m.
Assist and advise on the 1800 block of Delton Ave. NW. No damage to the threes and mail box was not being blocked by the basketball hoop. Spoke with all parties involved, kids were more than cooperative.
Harassment, 10:18 a.m.
Report of harassment on the 1400 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Complainant arrested for outstanding warrants.
Property Damage, 7:36 a.m.
Report of tampering with a motor vehicle on the 1100 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. One cited.
Welfare Check, 2:15 a.m.
Officer conducted a welfare check on a female on the 300 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Female was arrested on a warrant.
Suspicious, 1:44 a.m.
Suspicious vehicle complaint on the 1300 block of 3rd St. NE. Two occupants inside listening to music. No action taken.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:13 a.m.
Male urinating in public on the 1500 block of Calihan Ave. NE. Subject ran from officers and was not located.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 24
Accident, 9:02 p.m.
Officer took a hit-and-run accident report on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Medical, 6:21 p.m.
Drug overdose on the 1200 block of 30th St. NW. Officer performed CPR and administered Narcan. Patient transported by EMS.
Disorderly Conduct, 1:38 p.m.
Arrested one adult male for disorderly conduct and obstructing on Irvine Ave. and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Accident, 12:50 p.m.
Two-vehicle accident on 5th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. One male arrested on multiple charges and a warrant.
Assault, 10:36 a.m.
Three juveniles arrested for assault on the 2900 block of Division St. W.
Burglary, 9:23 a.m.
Report of male testing door handle in the early morning hours on the 700 block of 32nd St. NW.
Disorderly Conduct, 2:48 a.m.
Officers responded to the report of a disorderly male on the 200 block of 10th St. NE. Male arrested for local warrant.

DWI, 11:10 p.m.
Female arrested for fourth-degree DWI on Irvine Ave. and 6th St. NW.
Traffic Stop, 8:23 p.m.
Traffic stop on Birchmont Beach Rd. and Crowne Hills Ct. NE. Male arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Harassment, 7:47 p.m.
Report of suspicious messages. Male arrested for warrant in Bemidji.
Traffic Stop, 2:31 p.m.
Adult arrested for felony warrant on the 2400 block of Birchmont Beach Rd. NE.
Weapons Offenses, 11:08 a.m.
Report of a possible gunshot on the 1300 block of Augusta Dr. NE.

Report of possible deer poachers on the 38200 block of Arnson Creek Rd. NE in Blackduck. Unable to locate/gone on arrival.

Suspicious vehicle complaint. Determined to be two young adults who were on a date.
Suspicious, 8:58 p.m.
Noise complaint on the 30,000 block of Emerson Dr. and Stenson Rd. NE in Blackduck. Determined to be fireworks.
Theft, 6:03 p.m.
Theft of tools reported on the 17800 block of Popplewood Rd. NE in Hines.
Civil, 5:12 p.m.
Caller ordered item off the internet and has not received it in Tenstrike.
DWI, 2:23 a.m.
Male arrested for third-degree DWI test refusal on Highway 2 and Eckles Rd. NW.
Accident, 2:11 a.m.
Report of a vehicle running into the ditch in Nebish. Driver arrested for DWI, vehicle towed by Bogart’s.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 24
Medical, 11:22 p.m.
Deputies responded to an overdose in Bemidji. Male given ride to ER via private transport.

Possible gunshots heard by caller on the 2600 block of Grange Rd. NW. Unable to locate.
Agency Assist, 12:06 a.m.
Male arrested for second-degree DWI on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Traffic Stop, 1:44 a.m.
Female arrested on an out-of-county warrant on a traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. and Amos Way NW.
