BEMIDJI– The City of Bemidji will hold a special archery deer hunt this fall, and applications are now being accepted through July 24.

Archers will be allowed to take up to five deer in the hunt from September 14 through December 31, and the hunts will take place at the Bemidji Regional Airport, Northeast Lake Bemidji in Ward 5 and West Bemidji in Ward 4.

Depending on how many apply, some lottery drawings may be held in order to determine which applicants will receive a permit. Potential hunters must follow all laws and regulations that apply for this special hunt.

More information is available through the city of Bemidji’s website.
