Bemidji woman injured in crash with semi

A Bemidji woman was injured in a crash with a semi-truck Wednesday morning.

The semi driver, 23-year-old Sukhwinder Singh of Ottawa was southbound on Highway 71 and 21-year-old Cassidy Danielson was heading west on Highway 197 in a Ford Fusion when they collided just after 6 a.m.

Singh and his passenger were not injured, but Danielson was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Sanford Bemidji.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash and all were wearing their seat belts.

The Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
