BHS Pep Fest canceled yesterday

The Bemidji High School pep fest was cancelled yesterday.

According to a letter to high school families, the pep fest, meant for sending the girls soccer team off to state, was cancelled because “social media activity indicated a potential for violence during the pep fest.”

While no evidence of a threat was found, the crisis team decided canceling was the best course of action.
