BHS Speech Team takes home medals in Duluth

The Bemidji High School Speech Team had several finalists at the Duluth Denfeld Tournament Saturday.

Medalists included Elizabeth Rafferty, overall champion in Extemp Reading, Orion Montgomery in Extemp Reading, and Amy Frenzel, honors champion in Original Oratory.

Honors finalists included Melanie Richards in Great Speeches, Evelyn Cordts in Extemp Reading, Amy Frenzel in Extemp Speaking and Ardaschir Arguelles in Discussion.

The team travels to Hibbing this Saturday.
