BHS’s “Little Shop of Horrors” recognized by Hennepin Theater Trust

Bemidji High School’s production of Little Shop of Horrors was recognized by Hennepin Theater Trust as a participant in Spotlight Education.

According to a release, Helen Bartlett as Audrey and Aidan Larson as Seymore both received Outstanding Performances in a Lead Role.

“I am so proud of our talented students and the amazing things they were able to accomplish during this challenging production,” said Jeremiah Liend, director of the musical last fall.

Margaret Pansch and Reagan Petrowske received honorable mentions in technical leadership, with the overall performance receiving outstanding awards for student orchestra and overall technical team.

Spotlight Education supplements and enhances high school theater programs through workshops and writing theater reviews, with 94 schools throughout the state participating in the 23rd year of the program.
