BiCAP has funds to replace outdated furnaces

Bi-CAP is on track to spend $1.2 million on furnace upgrades this year.

According to a release, BiCAP has received grant funds to upgrade clients’ outdated furnace equipment with new high-efficiency units.

BiCAP has spent over $700,000 on furnace replacements and has a goal of spending another $500,000 this year.

To qualify, clients must apply for and receive Energy Assistance through BiCAP and own their own home, and must also have outdated propane or natural gas furnaces.

The BiCAP office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
