BEMIDJI– A Blackduck woman and a 16-year-old were injured in a crash just north of Bemidji yesterday afternoon.

According to the state patrol, a Chevy Silverado, driven by the 16-year-old boy, was eastbound on Lakewood Drive, crossing northbound Highway 71 when he failed to yield for traffic and was struck by a northbound Ford Mustang on Highway 71, driven by 64-year-old Pamela Boden of Blackduck.

The crash caused the Mustang to push into a commercial vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Ryan Lundin of Bemidji. The commercial vehicle occupants were uninjured, and Boden was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Sanford Bemidji.

The 16-year-old was also treated there, but the extent of his injuries are unknown. All appeared to have been wearing their seat belts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
