Bemidji State University’s president has responded to the Beltrami County Board vote held last Tuesday.
In an email to all students, faculty and staff, Dr. Faith Hensrud said the university is firmly committed to the success of all BSU community members, including immigrant and international students, faculty and staff.
That commitment is part of the university’s Shared Fundamental Values, “to promote global and multicultural understanding in everything we do.”

That’s it ? That is not a response, it is a policy statement. I would have hoped for better, not just a standard political statement that essentially says nothing.
