Nearly 600 donors contributed $193,678 during Bemidji State’s Day of Giving on Feb. 22.
The 24-hour online giving challenge saw donors support over 24 different areas on campus, including student scholarships, NCLEX nursing exam fees, undergraduate research projects, emergency student grants and BSU athletics.
Seventy-seven donors contributed nearly $52,000 for student scholarships, 24 donors contributed more than $17,000 for the BSU Music Department, 310 donors contributed more than $57,000 for Beaver Athletics, and 30 donors contributed $3,350 for American Indian graduate stoles.
The Day of Giving had thousands of dollars in matching funds available, allowing donors to double their impact.
