WALKER– The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says two recent burglary investigations have resulted in four arrests.

The first one, on May 17th, deputies arrived in East Gull Lake on report of a stolen vehicle from a seasonal residence.

The vehicle was found a short time later in Crow Wing County, and two Little Falls men, Derek Plante, 22, and Dean Derosier, 20, were arrested and have charges pending.

The second burglary investigation on May 18th was at a seasonal residence in Thunder Lake Township, on report of a suspicious vehicle.

The vehicle was discovered to have been stolen from Brainerd, and two men, 28-year-old Larry Lucas of Brainerd and 23-year-old Patrick Smith of Baxter were both arrested with charges pending.

Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch says both of these investigations were possible with the help of alert citizens reporting suspicious activity.
