Businesses and future residents and employees invited to open house for Bemidji Veterans Home

Potential residents, future employees and local businesses are invited to learn more about the Bemidji Veterans Home at an open house next week.

While the Veterans Home is not scheduled to open until this summer, the open house will be at the Community Office in the Westridge Commerce Center next Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Bemidji Veterans Home Community Office is at Ste. 108, 2300 24th St. NW in Bemidji.

The Home is seeking 150 full and part-time employees and various contracts with local businesses to provide goods and services.

These services can range from barbers and beauticians, chaplains, and laundry services to equipment repair.

Most staff will be hired in late spring/early summer, job postings will be published at mn.gov/careers, search Bemidji Veterans Home.

No RSVP is required and refreshments will be served.
