A Backus man was arrested for the sale and use of controlled substances after a search warrant.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports that in an ongoing investigation, deputies arrived at 58-year-old William Shield’s home in Backus Monday.
Approximately 62 grams of methamphetamine was seized, in addition to currency and drug paraphernalia.
Formal charges are pending and the investigation continues.
