A 34-year-old Cass Lake man is dead after an apparent drive-by shooting at a house party.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports the call came in at 2:45 a.m. on Monday, July 5.
The victim was transported to Cass Lake IHS where he was pronounced dead.
The male was apparently in the yard of the residence within the city of Cass Lake when he was struck by gunfire.
The investigation continues.
Leech Lake Tribal Police, Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, MN BCA, and Leech Lake Ambulance assisted at the scene.
