Cass County officials recommend no wash/no wake on area waterways

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is recommending no or slow wake on Cass County lakes, rivers and waterways due to high water levels.

According to the release, several areas of Cass County received several inches of rainfall this summer, creating high water issues on area waterways.

Sheriff Tom Burch asks that boaters exercise restraint, good judgement and common sense while operating on area lakes, and reduce their speed when traveling in these sensitive areas.
