Cass Lake-Bena School Board expected to choose new superintendent

Cass Lake-Bena Schools announced they are finalizing their search for a new superintendent this week.

Dr. Rochelle Johnson had served the post since 2014.

According to Cass Lake-Bena’s superintendent search timeline, the board began this search process in early December, with assistance facilitating the search from the Minnesota School Boards Association.

This week, the district will interview a selection of finalists.

They are anticipated to approve a contract with a lone finalist by next week, with the new superintendent beginning work in July.
