A 20-year-old Cass Lake man was killed in an ATV crash Saturday night.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch says his office responded to the Migizi Bike Trail, east of Cass Lake in Pike Bay Township.
The 20-year-old apparently lost control on a curve in the trail, veering off the trail and crashing into a tree.
The man was transported to Cass Lake IHS with serious injuries but was later pronounced deceased.
Sheriff Burch believes that speed is a factor in this crash and says that the investigation is ongoing.
Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Leech Lake Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care assisted at the scene.
