Cass Lake woman injured after collision with trees

A Cass Lake woman was injured after a crash last Wednesday night in Cass County.

According to the state patrol, 26-year-old Alyssa Wacholz was westbound on Highway 200 when she entered the north ditch, glanced off two trees and hit one tree head-on around 10:20 p.m.

Wacholz was driving a Ford Focus and roads were dry at the time. Alcohol is not a suspected factor in this crash.

Wacholz was transported to the Essentia Hospital in Brainerd for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
