Chaska man seriously injured in waterskiing accident

A Chaska man was seriously injured while waterskiing on Long Lake this weekend.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the unnamed 24-year-old apparently lost control, hit his head, and passed out Friday morning.

Friends and family reportedly got the victim into the boat and began CPR.

When ashore, the victim was flown by helicopter to a Twin Cities hospital.

The Longville Fire Department, Longville First Responders, and North Memorial Ambulance and Air Care assisted at the scene.
