Beltrami County Sheriff Chief Deputy Jarrett Walton was recently recognized by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety-Emergency Communications.
According to a release, Walton was recognized for his dedication as Chair of the Communications and Technology Committee that supported the Northern Lights Task Force.
This task force is comprised of 16 northern Minnesota counties and state agencies such as the State Patrol, the DNR and the BCA.
