Clearbrook man faces homicide charges

RICE LAKE– One woman is dead and a man has been arrested in a stabbing in Rice Lake.

According to an announcement from the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 911 call of a stabbing around 9:50 last night.

Upon arrival, a female victim was found lying outside a residence with an apparent stab wound to the chest. Life saving measures were attempted but were not successful.

The victim was identified as 37-year-old Natasha Thompson of Rice Lake. Twenty-three-year-old Tristan Kilde of Clearbrook was taken into custody as a suspect.
