The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office reports that they responded to a weapons discharge in Shevlin Monday evening.
According to their Facebook announcement, a man was standing in his yard and waving a handgun, shot once and went back inside.
Several attempts to contact the man were unsuccessful for about two hours, until deputies ultimately entered the residence and located the man.
The incident is being considered a mental health issue at this time, and the man was evaluated at the Sanford Bagley Medical Center.
